Key Responsibilities
1. Lead compliance monitoring of relevant technology-related activities across the organisation as part of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), including:
- developing, maintaining and executing technology-focused monitoring across the Momentum Group;
- designing, building and executing technology compliance monitoring tests aligned with the Executive Regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- assessing Momentum’s compliance with documented internal processes, external standards and regulatory requirements;
- conducting monitoring activities in a structured, consistent and risk-based manner;
- identifying findings, potential implications and high-level remediation considerations for technology stakeholders; and
- collaborating effectively with subject matter experts while maintaining independent professional judgement and providing constructive challenge;
- setting clear expectations for Technology teams to develop and own remediation plans, with identified issues tracked through to resolution.
2. Lead the coordination, consolidation and reporting of technology compliance monitoring outcomes, including:

- leading escalation where material compliance issues or systemic control weaknesses are identified.
3. Support risk assessment and programme refinement activities arising from compliance monitoring, including:
- analysing CMP findings and outcomes to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of existing controls;
- supporting updates to risk assessments and risk ratings based on monitoring outcomes and emerging risk themes; and
- leading the annual review and refresh of the technology component of the CMP to maintain alignment with regulatory expectations, business activities and Momentum’s risk profile.
4. Lead the continuous improvement of the technology component of the CMP by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory, technological and industry developments across the iGaming and lottery sectors, ensuring relevant changes and emerging risks are identified and incorporated into monitoring coverage, methodology and activities in a timely manner.
5. Conduct continual horizon scanning of technology developments, evaluating emerging technologies, automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics for their potential to enhance compliance monitoring, regulatory assurance, risk identification and management information.
6. Contribute to embedding a compliance- and ethics-focused culture across the Momentum Group by:
- promoting awareness of regulatory obligations through insights arising from compliance monitoring;
- working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to reinforce ownership of compliance controls; and
- supporting initiatives that strengthen accountability, transparency and ethical conduct across the business (including but not limited to Compliance Monitoring system implementation).
