Job Description

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

In this compelling Lead Associate position, you will drive Product Enablement across Fannie Mae's Collateral, Title, and Condo portfolio by connecting product strategy to the lender, technology-provider, and partner workflows through which these capabilities are implemented and used. In this role, you will translate market evidence into actions that increase adoption, utilization, operational effectiveness, and business value.

Position Summary

The Lead Associate, Property Product Enablement serves as a critical market-facing connection between Fannie Mae's Collateral, Title, and Condo product teams and the lenders, technology providers, appraisal and valuation participants, title providers, condo stakeholders, and other market participants that use these capabilities throughout mortgage origination.

The Lead Associate develops an evidence-based understanding of how Fannie Mae products, policies, data, and digital capabilities operate in real-world workflows; identifies where adoption or implementation breaks down; and partners across Product, Policy, Technology, SFME, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, and other teams to improve products, implementation, positioning, market readiness, and customer outcomes.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Product Enablement Strategy & Adoption

· Own Product Enablement activities across the Collateral, Title, and Condo portfolio, with a focus on increasing product adoption, utilization, customer understanding, and business value.

· Develop and execute targeted adoption strategies for customers, workflows, products, and market segments where focused intervention can materially improve utilization; identify where eligible product opportunities are not converting into actual use and determine the highest-value opportunities for intervention.

· Distinguish barriers that can be addressed through enablement from those requiring changes to product, policy, technology, integration, or partner implementation.

· Support market readiness for new and enhanced capabilities, including customer journeys, value propositions, rollout narratives, segmentation, field readiness, training, pilots, feedback plans, and success measures; shape clear, persona-driven product positioning and messaging that explains the customer problem, workflow fit, adoption rationale, and measurable value of Fannie Mae capabilities.

· Measure adoption interventions and continuously refine strategies based on product performance, customer evidence, market feedback, and observed outcomes.

Market, Customer & Workflow Insight

· Develop deep expertise in lender and partner workflows and how Collateral, Title, and Condo capabilities interact with the mortgage origination process.

· Engage directly with lenders, technology providers, appraisal and valuation participants, title providers, condo stakeholders, and other market participants to understand user behavior, friction, dependencies, and value; create workflow maps and structured market views that reveal implementation gaps, adoption barriers, data limitations, policy interpretation issues, manual processes, and opportunities for simplification or automation.

· Establish a disciplined Voice-of-Customer and learning agenda using structured interviews, workflow observation, customer cohorts, partner conversations, adoption data, and other evidence to separate systemic issues from isolated anecdotes.

Technology, Partner & Field Enablement

· Develop an understanding of how Fannie Mae products are represented, surfaced, configured, and operationalized within third-party technology systems and partner ecosystems, and work with internal stakeholders and external partners to address implementation issues that constrain adoption, influence lender behavior, create workflow friction, or limit awareness and value realization.

· Serve as a key Product Enablement partner for Single Family Market Engagement, account-management teams, and other customer-facing organizations, equipping them with product value propositions, use cases, workflow guidance, proof points, and adoption playbooks; translate complex product, policy, data, and workflow concepts into clear executive, customer-facing, training, launch, and field-enablement materials that teams can use confidently.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Business Impact

· Translate market and workflow insight into actionable recommendations for Product, Policy, Technology, Analytics, Risk, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders, and develop a clear point of view on the highest-value opportunities for product enhancement, policy clarification, technology change, improved implementation, targeted education, or partner intervention.

· Partner with Product and Analytics to establish meaningful measures of success, including adoption, utilization, penetration, workflow conversion, partner enablement, operational efficiency, and business impact.

· Develop recurring leadership readouts that explain what is happening, why it is happening, where adoption is breaking down, what the market is telling Fannie Mae, and what action is recommended.

· Influence stakeholders without direct authority and communicate complex market, product, and workflow findings as clear, concise, evidence-based recommendations for senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Minimum Requirements

· 4 Years of Relevant Experience

· Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.

Desired Requirements

· Go-to-market product experience and product enablement experience surrounding sales and marketing.

· Strong understanding of the mortgage origination lifecycle and lender operating environment.

· Demonstrated ability to develop detailed understanding of complex customer workflows, technology integrations, operational processes, and market ecosystems.

· Demonstrated ability to translate customer and market insight into actionable product or business recommendations and to support product adoption, implementation, commercialization, go-to-market, or growth.

· Strong analytical orientation and comfort working with product performance, customer data, Voice-of-Customer research, workflow observation, and structured market analysis.

· Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling capabilities, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear conclusions and high-quality executive and customer-facing materials.

· Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across Product, Policy, Technology, Account Management, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Risk, and other functions without direct authority.

· Experience in collateral risk management, property valuation, appraisal, title, condominium lending, property data, or related mortgage disciplines preferred.

· Experience working with mortgage lenders, appraisal or valuation providers, title providers, mortgage technology companies, or other industry partners; familiarity with Fannie Mae property-related digital products and policies preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
