The posting

Company Description

If you’re looking for more, you’ve come to the right place.

From the moment we opened our doors in 1981, we knew we wanted to be different. The people who work here are special, and that’s what makes us special. Our team members uphold the standards we set long ago by making the exceptional everyday, building relationships with our customers and with each other, and finding a place where their potential meets opportunity.

Job Description

Be part of what makes us different.

You’ll support the daily operations of our Central Kitchen, Meat, and Warehouse teams through administrative coordination, employee training, food safety, and health and safety initiatives. As a key point of contact for employees and leadership, you’ll help ensure procedures are followed, new team members are supported, and operational issues are addressed in a timely manner. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:

  • Provide administrative support to the Central Kitchen, Meat, and Warehouse teams, including: data entry and maintaining accurate labour, food costing, packaging, and traceability information.
  • Coordinate customer complaints and retail claims by investigating concerns, reviewing corrective actions with Managers, and ensuring complete and timely responses to PNCLs.
  • Support food safety initiatives by conducting spot checks and audits, identifying non-compliance, coordinating corrective actions, and following up on implementation.
  • Communicate sanitation related feedback between Production and Food Safety to support consistent practices.
  • Deliver food safety refresher training and support the rollout of new initiatives, ensuring employees understand and follow established procedures.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and hands-on training, including: Start Fresh initiatives, workstation activities, and key safety considerations.
  • Act as the primary contact for new employees during their first two weeks, providing ongoing support and feedback to Managers on employee progress and assessments.
  • Support temporary employee onboarding and training, providing feedback to Managers and staffing agencies on progress and performance.
  • Support Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings across departments, following up on outstanding risks and action items to help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Provide regular updates to Department and Production Managers on progress, outstanding concerns, and opportunities for improvement across key areas.
  • Contribute to overall team success by taking on additional related responsibilities as needed.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
