The posting

Fastbreak AI uses AI to transform sports operations, with software for scheduling, tournament management, group travel and brand sponsorships. Fastbreak Travel is our AI-powered group travel platform for amateur and professional sports organizations. It simplifies hotel booking, monitors stay-to-play, and turns every room night into a reliable revenue stream. It also integrates directly with Fastbreak Compete, which gives organizers full control over team accommodations.

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Customer Support Representative to help the teams, families and guests who book hotel stays through Fastbreak Travel. You’ll be the voice on the phone for guests making, changing or asking about their reservations, and you’ll help them get settled so they can focus on the event. This role has the potential to be a temp-to-hire position, based at our Charlotte, NC headquarters.

Logistics

  • $20/hour
  • Full-time hours, with two possible shifts: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. or 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Availability from 12–1 p.m. is required daily, since this is a peak call window.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from guests about hotel reservations, handling 30–50 calls per day depending on event volume
  • Help guests book, modify and cancel reservations through the Fastbreak Travel platform
  • Answer questions about hotel options, rates, policies and booking requirements
  • Troubleshoot reservation issues and escalate complex problems
  • Document every call and reservation change accurately in our systems
  • Follow up with guests to make sure issues are fully resolved
  • Participation in rotating emergency phone schedule as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Friendly, patient and professional phone presence
  • Comfortable learning new software and navigating multiple systems at once
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Reliable and punctual, with availability for one of the shifts listed above
  • Hotel, travel or sports industry experience is a plus
