Are you a Trade Manager currently covering TPEB trades? Here is an exciting position for you!

Faststream Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a global logistics company who is looking for a Trade Manager to look after their TPEB trades in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Manage TPEB bookings and routing for shipments from Asia to North America, ensuring timely and cost-effective cargo movement.
  • Optimise routing based on transit times, costs, reliability and carrier performance.
  • Secure vessel space and manage allocations to meet demand and seasonal peaks.
  • Resolve rollovers, blank sailings and capacity constraints to minimise disruptions.
  • Maintain relationships with ocean carriers and NVOCC partners, reviewing service performance regularly.
  • Monitor market rates, capacity and buying costs to support competitive pricing and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with carrier guidelines, documentation requirements and applicable North American customs and maritime regulations.
  • Maintain accurate booking, routing and operational records.
  • Lead and develop booking and routing teams through training, performance targets and regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and overseas partners to resolve issues and provide timely shipment updates.
  • Support customer enquiries and coordinate cross-trade and import shipments where required.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on TPEB experience within an NVOCC, freight forwarder or ocean carrier.
  • Strong knowledge of TPEB trade dynamics, carrier services, port pairings and North American regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in booking platforms and industry systems, with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with Dangerous Goods, out-of-gauge and reefer cargo.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • TPEB carrier relationships, service contract negotiation or pricing experience, and knowledge of U.S. inland and intermodal transportation are advantageous.
