If this vision excites you, we’d love to have you join our team!   FCU Community Financial is looking for a team-oriented individual to assist our members in achieving their financial goals as a permanent, part-time Financial Service Representative at our Texada Branch.    Looking for an opportunity to start your career in the financial industry? This member service-focused role is perfect for those who excel at providing exceptional service and want to expand their skills. This position is ideal for those seeking to gain valuable experience and build their financial literacy while supporting our members and making a difference in their financial journey. Join us and take the first step in your professional growth! This is a part-time position with a minimum guarantee of 14 hours per week.    Major Responsibilities: 

Providing an exceptional member experience by proactively engaging with members to understand and meet their immediate day-to-day banking needs by identifying the products and services that will benefit them. Completing financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments and/or other account transactions accurately and efficiently. Transforming the member experience by educating them on our mobile tools and resources. Assisting other team members and completing other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability: 

High School Diploma (preference will be given for post-secondary education). 1-3 years experience in customer service (retail, hospitality, and or financial industry).  Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus and the ability to multi-task.  Knowledge of deposit and lending products and services is preferred. Effective listening skills. Successful relationship-building skills. A positive attitude towards teamwork and cooperation. Strong oral and written communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. A proven ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with or without a calculator. Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential attributes.
