Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar digitaal bewijsmateriaal een cruciale rol speelt in onderzoeken. Als technisch specialist ondersteun je onderzoekers bij de verwerking, analyse en interpretatie van complexe digitale data en digitaal bewijsmateriaal.

Je stuurt de verwerking van digitaal bewijsmateriaal aan binnen diverse forensische tools, volgt deze processen op en fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor technische vraagstukken. Daarnaast onderhoud je contacten met softwareontwikkelaars om problemen te signaleren en mee te werken aan duurzame oplossingen. Vanuit jouw technische expertise detecteer je de behoeften van onderzoekers en draag je actief bij aan de implementatie, testing en evaluatie van nieuwe tools en technieken.

Verder verzorg je opleidingen en begeleiding voor eindgebruikers en onderzoekers en ondersteun je de automatisering van workflows en processen, zodat onderzoeksactiviteiten efficiënter en effectiever verlopen.

  • Je bent in staat technische informatie te analyseren en te vertalen naar bruikbare inzichten voor eindgebruikers en onderzoekers.
  • Ervaring met het ondersteunen, begeleiden of opleiden van eindgebruikers is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring met scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash,..) is een meerwaarde voor het ontwikkelen van eigen workflows en het automatiseren van processen en tools.
  • Gevoelige info vertrouwelijk behandelen is voor jou een automatische reflex.
  • ‘Out-of-the-box' probleemoplossend denken is jouw ‘middle name'.
  • Je hebt een hekel aan half werk.
  • Je verliest het groter plaatje nooit uit het oog.
  • Je bent doortastend en je weet wat we vandaag (nog) moeten doen om morgen de beoogde resultaten te behalen.
  • Je staat open voor de gevoelens, behoeften en wensen van anderen.

Specifieke vaardigheden

  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma in een IT-richting.
  • Je beschikt over een basiskennis van IT en beheerst onder meer de volgende concepten: Filesystemen Databanken (werking, querying en datamodellering) Dataformaten Encryptie en decryptie Operating systems
