If you’re ready to inspire the next generation of writers and thinkers, your next chapter starts here.

Role Summary

As a Middle School English Teacher, you will lead a classroom within one of our 7th-8th grade centers. You will facilitate a rigorous, student-centered environment that focuses on critical reading, analytical writing, and effective communication. Working collaboratively with your PLC and the community, you will create an inclusive learning experience that prepares young scholars for the transition to our STEAM and traditional high schools.

  • Digital Native: You are excited to integrate modern technology and media literacy into the English classroom.

Your Impact (Key Duties)

  • Inspire Literacy: Design lessons that bridge foundational reading skills with complex, inquiry-based analysis of diverse texts.
  • Cultivate Writers: Guide students through the writing process, helping them develop a strong, authentic voice in both creative and academic formats.
  • Collaborate: Partner with your grade-level PLC to analyze student growth and pivot instruction to meet the needs of every learner.
  • Utilize Resources: Leverage our district’s unique assets, like our STEAM initiatives, to explore the intersection of storytelling and technology.
  • Foster Belonging: Build a classroom culture where every student feels safe to take intellectual risks and share their ideas.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
