As Legal Counsel focussing on employment and labour matters, you will support Fever’s operations worldwide, across our growing international workforce. This role requires proactivity, autonomy, and drive. You will help build compliant, scalable workforce models that enable our live experiences and productions, all within a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious global expansion. You will additionally be involved in day-to-day legal support, advising the People and Labor Relations teams, and business leaders, on discrete matters across the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding through to exits and post-separation matters.
What You’ll Do
- Provide general legal support by adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in the CEE region
- Advise on worker classification, working time and staffing models for our live experiences, including temporary, part-time and event-based staff
- Provide day-to-day employment and labour law advice to the People team and business stakeholders, adapting company legal strategy to local requirements
- Draft and review employment contracts, contractor and freelance agreements, and internal policies, handbooks and procedures across multiple jurisdictions
- Support and advise on employment disputes, disciplinary processes and terminations, and support on or coordinate pre-litigation and litigation with external counsel
- Support labor matters, including, where relevant, strategic advice and management of union relationships, collective bargaining, works councils and employee representatives across the globe
- Serve as point of coordination for advisory on employment aspects of international corporate or project expansion, restructurings and corporate transactions, including entity set-up, transfers of employees and due diligence
- Stay up to date on relevant legislative and jurisprudence developments, and contribute to company knowledge, including templates and legal guides
- Prioritise your work based on company strategy and objectives, and support the upskilling and growth of other team members
Who You Are
- Be a barred / practising EU-qualified lawyer with 4+ years of PQE specialising in employment and labour law
- Have demonstrated experience advising on employment matters that span multiple international jurisdictions
- Speak fluent English, with Spanish or an additional European language a strong plus
- Have experience working in top tier law firms, or in-house experience at a large-scale multinational
- Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work
- Have a keen eye for strategy, people, and business, with an ability to translate complex legal matters into outcomes and opportunities
- Possess strong technical skills and the discretion to handle sensitive and confidential people matters
