Job Summary
The Enterprise Systems Program Manager serves as a lead within Digital, Technology & Transformation (DTT), responsible for a portfolio of enterprise systems initiatives and strategic technology programs, with a focus on financial and HR applications, that support organizational objectives across multiple business functions. Oversees the planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of concurrent projects spanning enterprise applications, business processes, systems integrations, data, and digital transformation initiatives. Partners with cross-functional stakeholders, DTT leaders, business leaders, vendors, and executive sponsors to align technology investments with organizational priorities. Manages program-level risks, dependencies, budgets, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives while guiding stakeholders through the full lifecycle of enterprise systems investments.
Accountabilities:
· Manage a portfolio: Oversee enterprise systems initiatives and concurrent projects, maintaining roadmaps, plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics across the full lifecycle — from business case through implementation, adoption, and operational transition.
· Engage stakeholders: partner with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, and prioritize initiatives; facilitate cross-functional discussions to build consensus on priorities, solutions, and implementation plans.
· Serve as liaison: act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, DTT, and technical subject matter experts, ensuring business needs are clearly represented and communicated.
· Track and control delivery: monitor status, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and issues, applying corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
· Ensure governance and compliance: align initiatives with organizational priorities, governance processes, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and established methodologies.
· Manage vendors: oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and external service providers to support program outcomes.
· Maintain documentation: establish and maintain project/program documentation, reporting, schedules, forecasts, and communication plans.
· Drive improvement: promote continuous improvement in systems, processes, and program management practices, while fostering collaboration, transparency, and accountability across teams and leadership.
Applied Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to guide diverse stakeholder groups through complex decision-making toward consensus.
- Expertise in program, portfolio, and governance management, strategic planning, and organizational change management, including stakeholder engagement.
- Skilled in partnering with stakeholders to drive enterprise systems strategy, business process improvement, and systems lifecycle management (ERP, financial management, grants management, human capital management, and enterprise reporting).
- Advanced knowledge of project/program/portfolio management methodologies, with the ability to translate complex technical and business information into actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
Problem Solving & Impact:
- Facilitates business and technology decision-making across cross-functional stakeholder groups, driving alignment by identifying dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and impacts across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Analyzes complex business, process, and system challenges to recommend practical solutions aligned with organizational goals, resources, and operational needs, presenting options to leadership to support decisions on scope, schedule, resources, and investments.
- Exercises independent judgment to manage program risks, resolve issues, and recommend corrective actions, balancing strategic objectives with operational realities to ensure successful delivery of enterprise systems programs.
- Works independently, with limited supervision, managing a portfolio of initiatives across multiple departments, and contributes to improvements in governance, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and business processes through project management best practices.

Supervision Given/Received:
- Oversees quality and successful delivery of assigned programs, resolving issues among project teams and stakeholders and recommending solutions to management as needed.
- Monitors program and project budgets, and manages and coordinates resources across a matrixed organization, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Manages contractor and vendor relationships, deliverables, and performance, and participates in resource planning and allocation to support organizational priorities.
- Provides teams with direction, feedback, and recognition, enabling cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across stakeholder groups.
- Mentors project managers, analysts, and other team members on program management best practices, and contributes to staff development, recruitment, proposals, and other organizational initiatives.

Education**
Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
PMP, PgMP, Agile, Prosci, or other relevant certifications preferred.
Experience**
- Typically requires 8+ years of experience with project management and managing IT systems and programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency with software development life cycle, third party software analysis and selection, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) or other structured software implementation standards.
- Understanding of Costpoint Deltek, Workday, Salesforce, Jira preferred.
- Experience with portfolio governance, vendor management, strategic planning, and enterprise systems roadmaps.
- Prior experience working within a global organization preferred.

Technology to be Used:
- Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidates FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US-based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
US Based Hiring Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
International hiring ranges will differ based on location
