Jobbet

Jeg er en mand på 57 år, tetraplegiker (lam fra halsen og ned, dog uafhængig respirator), efter ulykke. Jeg har en smule førlighed i den højre skulder, så jeg er selv i stand til at køre min kørestol.

Det betyder så også, at jeg skal have hjælp til stort set alt. Personlig pleje, madindtag, toiletbesøg mv, forefaldende arbejde i og omkring huset samt madlavning. Desuden ture ud af huset i egen bil, vedligeholdende træning, fysioterapeut, familiebesøg og lignende.

Jeg bor i eget hus i Tranbjerg J lige syd for Aarhus, og der er gode forbindelser med bus og tog.

Erfaring er ingen forudsætning for jobbet. Der gives 4 timers oplæring, altid fra kl. 8-12, da det er i dette tidsrum at personlig og intim pleje gives. I den forbindelse kan nævnes, grundet min blufærdighed, at kvindelig hjælper ønskes.

Der søges en ikke-ryger af mange årsager. Den primære årsag er at passiv rygning er yderst skadeligt for mit helbred.

Profil

Du har en gymnasial uddannelse eller lignende bag dig. Du har gåpåmod og er villig til at lære nyt. Du er god til at strukturere dit arbejde, og det er en forudsætning, at du har en god energi, da der er tale om døgnvagter (Selvfølgelig med mulighed for at sove om natten). Det er også vigtigt, at du er indstillet på at lytte til de anvisninger jeg giver dig i mange store og små anledninger i løbet af en vagt. Det handler om alt muligt, lige fra madlavning, over mine personlige behov, til bilkørsel.

Arbejdstid

Fuldtidsstillingen omfatter vagter af 24 timers varighed fra 8.00 morgen til 8.00 morgen, fordelt over en måned á 6 stk. Vagterne planlægges på personalemøder i samarbejde med det øvrige hjælperteam. Du har dermed selv en vis indflydelse på, hvor dine vagter placeres. Arbejdet forekommer alle ugens dage og inkluderer således også weekender og helligdage.

Opgaver

Jobbet omfatter følgende opgaver:

  • Alt i personlig pleje
  • Ture ud af huset
  • Daglige praktiske opgaver i og omkring huset, indkøb mv.
