Stellenbeschreibung

Du denkst Data Engineering ganzheitlich – von Infrastruktur über Pipelines bis zur Plattform-Architektur? Du möchtest nicht nur bestehende Systeme betreiben, sondern aktiv eine moderne Data Platform aufbauen? Dann bist du bei uns genau richtig.

Als Senior Data Engineer übernimmst du eine zentrale Rolle beim Aufbau und Betrieb unserer Datenplattform und arbeitest eng mit Data Analysts, Engineers und Product Teams zusammen.

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Databricks & Spark: Du verantwortest unsere Databricks-Umgebung und optimierst Spark-Pipelines sowie Workflows.
  • Data Platform Design: Du entwickelst unsere Data Platform weiter – von Architektur über Datenmodellierung bis hin zu Best Practices.
  • Pipelines & Transformation: Du entwickelst und betreibst skalierbare ELT/ETL-Pipelines mit Airbyte und dbt.
  • Zusammenarbeit: Du arbeitest eng mit Senior Data Analysts (gemeinsamer Stack, getrennte Workstreams) sowie mit Engineering, Product und ggf. Compliance.

Qualifikationen

  • Data Engineering Expertise: Du bringst 5+ Jahre Erfahrung als Data Engineer mit und hast bereits mit modernen Cloud Data Stacks gearbeitet.
  • Data Processing: Fundierte Erfahrung mit Databricks und Apache Spark.
  • Data Stack: Sicherer Umgang mit dbt und Airbyte.
  • Programmierung: Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python und/oder SQL.
  • Arbeitsweise: Du arbeitest strukturiert, eigenverantwortlich und mit starkem Engineering-Fokus.
  • Sprachen: Du sprichst Deutsch und Englisch fließend.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Erfahrung mit Apache Airflow oder ähnlichen Orchestrierungstools
  • Kenntnisse in Data Vault oder Medallion Architecture
  • Erfahrung mit Cloud Data Warehouses (z. B. Redshift)
  • Erfahrung mit Finanzdaten (z. B. Broker- oder Kundendaten)
