Commercial Banking Relationship Manager -C&I & CRE –Alpharetta, GA

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a regional banking institution to identify top talent for a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager opportunity specializing in C&I and CRE lending. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial banker who can develop new business, build a quality loan and deposit portfolio, and cultivate long-term relationships with commercial clients.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of commercial banking experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience originating and managing commercial loans.
  • Experience across both C&I and commercial real estate lending strongly preferred.
  • Commercial real estate experience with stabilized properties.
  • Experience with retail and industrial CRE is particularly relevant.
  • Ability to develop new commercial loan relationships and expand deposit relationships.
  • Experience partnering with treasury-management professionals to deliver broader banking solutions.
  • Strong business-development and relationship-management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage credit relationships while maintaining portfolio quality.
  • Track record of building and maintaining lasting client relationships.
  • Experience working with commercial loan sizes generally ranging from approximately $1 million to $5 million is desirable.

Description:

  • Develop new commercial banking relationships through proactive business development and market outreach.
  • Originate C&I and commercial real estate loans within the institution's lending parameters.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of commercial clients while identifying opportunities for additional banking relationships.
  • Generate deposit relationships alongside commercial lending opportunities.
  • Partner with treasury-management professionals to introduce appropriate treasury services to commercial clients.
  • Evaluate opportunities involving stabilized commercial real estate, including retail and industrial properties.
  • Focus on relationship-oriented lending while maintaining disciplined credit standards.
  • Manage existing commercial relationships, renewals, and ongoing portfolio needs.
  • Work closely with portfolio-management and credit partners on loan approvals, renewals, and credit administration.
  • Coordinate with support resources responsible for financial-document collection, covenant testing, and portfolio servicing.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and progress toward commercial banking production goals.
  • Maintain active communication with internal banking partners to support client needs and identify additional opportunities.
  • Build a sustainable book of business through consistent relationship development, lending activity, deposits, and treasury opportunities.
