The posting

Voor een industriële leverancier met meerdere vestigingen in België zoeken we een ervaren Accountant. Je versterkt het Compliance-team binnen een financiële afdeling die de organisatie ondersteunt met betrouwbare cijfers en praktisch advies.

Je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de boekhouding van meerdere Belgische vennootschappen. Naast de dagelijkse verwerking en afsluitingen werk je mee aan compliance, risicobeheersing en digitalisering. Je onderzoekt afwijkingen, denkt kritisch mee over processen en bent een aanspreekpunt voor collega’s binnen en buiten Finance.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Zelfstandig beheren van de boekhouding van meerdere Belgische vennootschappen.
  • Bewaken van de volledigheid en correctheid van financiële gegevens.
  • Analyseren van afwijkingen en uitvoeren van de nodige correcties.
  • Voorbereiden van maandelijkse rapportering en meewerken aan maand- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Uitvoeren van balansreconciliaties en opvolgen van openstaande posten.
  • Voorbereiden van aangiftes en ondersteunen van audits.
  • Toezien op wettelijke, fiscale en interne richtlijnen en signaleren van risico’s.
  • Beantwoorden van financiële en boekhoudkundige vragen vanuit de organisatie.
  • Constructief bespreken van knelpunten en uitwerken van werkbare oplossingen.
  • Meewerken aan automatisering, digitalisering en verbetering van financiële processen.
  • Een bachelor Accountancy-Fiscaliteit of gelijkwaardige ervaring vormt de basis voor deze functie.
  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante accountingervaring is vereist, bij voorkeur binnen een complexe organisatie met een matrixstructuur.
  • Boekhoudkundige principes en financiële rapportering beheers je grondig.
  • Microsoft Office en Excel, waaronder draaitabellen en functies, zijn vertrouwde werkinstrumenten.
  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals UBW en/of Esker is een pluspunt.
  • Nederlands en Engels spreek je vlot. Kennis van Frans is mooi meegenomen.
  • Nauwkeurigheid, structuur en verantwoordelijkheid kenmerken je dossierbeheer.
  • Met een kritische blik onderzoek je wat achter de cijfers zit en herken je verbeterkansen.
  • Als betrouwbare en discrete teamspeler deel je graag kennis en stel je zaken constructief in vraag.
  • Leergierigheid en flexibiliteit tijdens maand- en jaarafsluitingen passen bij je werkhouding.
