The posting

Voor een internationale organisatie actief in bloed- en celtechnologie zoeken we een AP Accountant. Vanuit het kantoor in Brussel ondersteun je de dagelijkse boekhouding en draag je bij aan financiële processen binnen een omgeving met een sterke maatschappelijke missie.

Je beheert leveranciersfacturen, betalingen en bankverrichtingen en ondersteunt de periodieke afsluitingen. Daarnaast werk je mee aan intercompany-afstemmingen en de overgang van geselecteerde activiteiten naar een shared service center. Je rapporteert aan de GBS AP Manager EMEA.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Dagelijks boeken van leveranciersfacturen, inclusief facturen gekoppeld aan aankooporders.
  • Bewaken van correcte en tijdige betalingen van leveranciersfacturen en onkostennota’s.
  • Actueel houden van leveranciersrekeningen en bankgegevens.
  • Voorbereiden, uitvoeren en opvolgen van betaalruns volgens de vastgelegde planning.
  • Afstemmen met Treasury over betalingen naar verschillende landen.
  • Verzorgen van maandelijkse intercompanyfacturatie.
  • Afstemmen en bevestigen van intercompany- en intragroepssaldi, inclusief auditbevestigingen.
  • Maandelijks reconciliëren van bankrekeningen.
  • Ondersteunen van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Meewerken aan de voorbereiding en overdracht van geselecteerde activiteiten naar een shared service center.
  • Onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers, banken en interne afdelingen.
  • Optreden als back-up voor collega’s binnen het accountingteam.
  • Een diploma in boekhouding vormt de basis, bij voorkeur op A1-niveau.
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring met dagelijkse boekhoudkundige activiteiten is vereist.
  • Een goede technische kennis van boekhoudprincipes is noodzakelijk.
  • Het Engels beheers je op een gevorderd niveau, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Excel, Word en SAP of een ander ERP-systeem zijn vertrouwde werkinstrumenten.
  • Kennis van automatisering, zoals flows, macro’s of scripts, behoort tot je vaardigheden.
  • Deadlines bewaken en zorgvuldig omgaan met vertrouwelijke informatie gaan vanzelfsprekend samen met je werk.
  • Als teamspeler bouw je constructieve relaties op met interne en externe contacten.
  • Een veranderende omgeving spreekt je aan en motiveert je om mee te werken aan verbetering en transformatie.
  • Respect, integriteit, zorg, kwaliteit en creativiteit sluiten aan bij je professionele houding.
