The posting

Voor een groeiende internationale groep van dierenartspraktijken en -klinieken zoeken we een Business Controller. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CFO en ondersteunt de directie met financiële planning, analyses en strategische inzichten op Belgisch niveau.

Samen met een collega-businesscontroller neem je verantwoordelijkheid voor budgettering, forecasting en meerjarenplanning. Je bouwt financiële modellen en helpt de kwaliteit en efficiëntie van rapporteringsprocessen verder verbeteren.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Coördineren van budgetten, forecasts en meerjarenplannen voor de Belgische organisatie.
  • Mee bepalen van methodologie, aannames, timing en afspraken binnen de planningscycli.
  • Analyseren van resultatenrekeningen en verklaren van afwijkingen en trends.
  • Uitwerken van scenario’s en businesscases voor strategische beslissingen.
  • Bouwen en optimaliseren van geavanceerde financiële modellen in Excel.
  • Mee valideren van managementrapporteringen en Power BI-dashboards.
  • Verbeteren van datakwaliteit, automatisering en standaardisering binnen rapportering en FP&A.
  • Optreden als kritische sparringpartner en vertalen van complexe gegevens naar heldere managementinzichten.
  • Je hebt een master in Finance, Handelswetenschappen, Bedrijfseconomie of een verwant domein.
  • Je beschikt over relevante ervaring in FP&A, controlling of consultancy, met een beoogd ervaringsniveau van vier tot zes jaar.
  • Je beheerst Excel op gevorderd niveau en hebt een sterke interesse in financiële en strategische modellering.
  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen, zoals Oracle, of Power BI is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, zelfstandig en neemt verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je voelt je comfortabel in een veranderende en complexe omgeving.
  • Je bent een gedreven teamspeler die past binnen een informele, collegiale cultuur.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands of Frans, gecombineerd met een professionele kennis van Engels.
  • Ook wanneer je nog niet alle vereisten beheerst, zijn een sterke basis, leergierigheid en teamgeest belangrijk.
