The posting

Voor een stabiele en sterk groeiende kmo in de machinebouw zoeken we een Sales Engineer / Calculator. Samen met twee collega’s behandel je nieuwe aanvragen en ontwikkel je technische concepten die aansluiten bij de behoeften van klanten.

Je combineert technisch ontwerp met kostprijsberekening en commercieel contact. Van een eerste concept en 2D-indeling tot een onderbouwde offerte en verdere opvolging: je bewaart het overzicht. Daarnaast verbeter je calculatietools op basis van nacalculaties van bestaande machines en opties.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Analyseren van nieuwe aanvragen en bespreken van klantbehoeften.
  • Samen met collega’s uitwerken van passende concepten, machines en technische oplossingen.
  • Vertalen van concepten naar gedetailleerde 2D-bovenaanzichten, rekening houdend met beschikbare ruimte en klantvereisten.
  • Uitvoeren van nauwkeurige calculaties en opstellen van offertes.
  • Bespreken van offertes met klanten en opvolgen van de voortgang.
  • Bezoeken van klanten wanneer verdere technische afstemming nodig is.
  • Uitvoeren van nacalculaties van bestaande machines en bijbehorende opties.
  • Actualiseren van calculatietools en ontwikkelen van nieuwe rekentools op basis van nacalculaties.
  • Voorbereiden van offertes voor eerder ontwikkelde machines.
  • Gestructureerd beheren van project- en offertegegevens.
  • Een bachelor Elektromechanica of gelijkwaardige ervaring vormt de basis voor deze functie.
  • Technisch inzicht combineer je met ervaring in technische concepten en een goed begrip van machines.
  • Het opstellen en aanpassen van 2D-tekeningen gaat je vlot af.
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden helpen je technische gegevens interpreteren en nauwkeurige calculaties maken.
  • Creatief en oplossingsgericht denken vertaal je naar voorstellen op maat van de klant.
  • Heldere, professionele communicatie met klanten en collega’s is een van je sterke punten.
  • Klantvragen volg je zorgvuldig op, met aandacht voor klanttevredenheid.
  • Zelfstandig en gestructureerd werken helpt je het overzicht over verschillende dossiers bewaren.
  • Excel en Word zijn vertrouwde werkinstrumenten, met een uitgebreide Excelkennis voor betrouwbare calculaties.
  • Ervaring binnen de technische sector of machinebouw is een pluspunt.
  • Kennis van SolidWorks of andere 3D CAD-software is een bijkomende troef.
