The posting

Voor een internationale logistieke groep zoeken we een Senior Accountant die de boekhouding van de Belgische entiteiten correct en volledig opvolgt. Je ondersteunt de Finance Manager bij de maand- en jaarafsluitingen en werkt nauw samen met financecollega’s, operationele afdelingen en externe accountants.

Btw vormt de kern van deze functie, met bijzondere aandacht voor internationale transacties. Door de logistieke activiteiten komen ook douanevraagstukken aan bod. Naast de dagelijkse boekhouding krijg je ruimte om processen, interne controles en digitale toepassingen verder te verbeteren.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Verwerken en opvolgen van de algemene boekhouding van de Belgische entiteiten.
  • Beheren van grootboek- en balansrekeningen, reconciliaties en intercompanyposities.
  • Controleren van kosten, opbrengsten, provisies en overlopende rekeningen.
  • Ondersteunen van de leveranciers- en klantenboekhouding en structureel oplossen van afwijkingen.
  • Voorbereiden, controleren en indienen van Belgische btw-aangiften.
  • Beoordelen van de btw-behandeling van binnenlandse, intracommunautaire en internationale transacties.
  • Controleren van btw-vrijstellingen, verleggingsregelingen en de btw-verwerking bij invoer en uitvoer.
  • Bewaken van de verwerking van invoerrechten, invoer-btw en douanekosten, samen met de betrokken operationele teams.
  • Opvolgen van wijzigingen in de btw-wetgeving en ondersteunen bij controles.
  • Voorbereiden van afsluitboekingen en aanleveren van analyses voor betrouwbare rapportering.
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding van jaarrekeningen en auditdossiers.
  • Verbeteren van boekhoudprocessen, interne controles en workflows in Odoo.
  • Documenteren van procedures en meewerken aan automatisering en AI-toepassingen binnen finance.
  • Een bachelor of master in accountancy, finance of economie, of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Minstens vijf jaar ervaring binnen accounting.
  • Grondige, aantoonbare kennis van de Belgische btw is een absolute vereiste.
  • Ervaring met de btw-behandeling van internationale transacties.
  • Sterke kennis van Belgische boekhoudprincipes, afsluitingen en reconciliaties.
  • Een goede beheersing van Excel en moderne boekhoudsystemen.
  • Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Technische expertise gecombineerd met een praktische aanpak en een kritische blik op processen.
  • Kennis van douane, invoerrechten en invoer-btw is een belangrijke troef.
  • Ervaring binnen logistiek, freight forwarding, een douaneomgeving of een internationale groep vormt een pluspunt.
  • Kennis van Odoo en affiniteit met digitalisering en automatisering zijn bijkomende troeven.
