The posting

Voor een Europese specialist in digitale transformatie zoeken we een Senior Finance Accountant die de dagelijkse boekhouding van verschillende groepsvennootschappen in handen neemt. Je rapporteert aan de Finance Manager en combineert boekhoudkundige expertise met een sterke interesse in systemen, automatisering en artificiële intelligentie.

Je zorgt voor betrouwbare cijfers, goed gedocumenteerde controles en efficiënte afsluitingen. Tegelijk help je de financiële werking verder intern uit te bouwen en schaalbaar te maken voor internationale groei. Daarbij werk je met NetSuite en gekoppelde financiële toepassingen.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Beheren van de algemene boekhouding van verschillende Europese entiteiten in NetSuite, met aandacht voor correcte verwerking, compliance en auditvoorbereiding.
  • Verwerken van leveranciersfacturen, facturen van zelfstandige medewerkers, loongerelateerde boekingen, kaarttransacties en overige financiële verrichtingen.
  • Voorbereiden van maandafsluitingen, inclusief overlopende posten, afschrijvingen, kostenallocaties, loonboekingen en vaste activa.
  • Opstellen en documenteren van balansreconciliaties, onderzoeken van verschillen en tijdig oplossen van openstaande aansluitingsposten.
  • Bewaken van de afsluitkalender en versterken van interne controles, functiescheiding en goedkeuringsprocedures.
  • Ontwikkelen van automatische controles op onder meer kostenplaatsen, btw-codes, afschrijvingsschema’s en intercompanyboekingen.
  • Inzetten van AI en automatisering voor transactieverwerking, reconciliaties, afwijkingsanalyses en financiële documentatie.
  • Optimaliseren van aankoop- en facturatieprocessen via e-facturatie, digitale factuurverwerking en automatische boekingsregels.
  • Voorbereiden van betalingsbestanden en opvolgen van bankkoppelingen, kasreconciliaties, onkostennota’s en doorlopende cashflowprognoses.
  • Controleren van verkoopfacturen, btw-behandeling en omzetverantwoording en ondersteunen van debiteurenopvolging.
  • Coördineren van btw-aangiftes, intracommunautaire opgaven en lokale fiscale verplichtingen met externe partners.
  • Uitvoeren van intercompanydoorrekeningen volgens het verrekenprijsbeleid en ondersteunen van groepsconsolidatie en wettelijke rapportering.
  • Opstellen van managementrapporteringen en analyseren van afwijkingen in resultatenrekening en balans.
  • Samenwerken met interne teams, externe accountants, auditors, loonpartners en fiscale adviseurs.
  • Vastleggen en verbeteren van financiële procedures, werkinstructies en controles.
  • Je beschikt over een professionele accountancykwalificatie zoals ACA, ACCA, CIMA of gelijkwaardig. Ook kandidaten met ruime relevante ervaring komen in aanmerking.
  • Je hebt minstens 4 jaar relevante boekhoudkundige ervaring, bij voorkeur binnen een internationale organisatie met meerdere entiteiten, een scale-up of een professionele dienstverlener.
  • Praktijkervaring met NetSuite is gewenst. Ervaring met het verbeteren van NetSuite-processen is een sterke troef.
  • Je beheerst algemene boekhouding, maandafsluitingen, balansreconciliaties, overlopende posten, afschrijvingen, vaste activa, btw, loonboekingen en intercompanyboekhouding.
  • Je hebt een goed inzicht in interne controles, boekhoudkundige compliance en grensoverschrijdende Europese btw-verwerking, waaronder verlegging van heffing.
  • Je hebt ervaring met betalingsbestanden en bank- of betaalplatformen. Kennis van Embat, Payhawk, Upflow of vergelijkbare tools is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt vlot samen met externe accountants, auditors, loonpartners en belastingadviseurs in verschillende landen.
  • Je hebt praktische ervaring met AI-tools, zoals Dust, ChatGPT of Claude, en wilt je verder verdiepen in automatisering.
  • Je werkt georganiseerd en nauwkeurig, bewaakt deadlines en documenteert processen en controles zorgvuldig.
  • Je communiceert helder, werkt zelfstandig en kaart problemen tijdig aan.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Engels.
  • Je bent bereid om occasioneel binnen Europa te reizen voor teamactiviteiten of zakelijke behoeften.
