Voor een internationale ledenvereniging die werkt aan de duurzame ontwikkeling van agrovoedingssystemen zoeken we een Senior Finance Manager. De organisatie voert samenwerkingsprogramma’s uit voor publieke en institutionele financiers en ondersteunt partners in onder meer Afrika, Latijns-Amerika, het Caribisch gebied en Azië-Pacific.

Je bewaakt de financiële gezondheid, rapportering en compliance van een groeiende programmaportefeuille. Daarbij combineer je praktische financiële opvolging met auditcoördinatie, risicoanalyse en advies. Je rapporteert aan de Finance & Administration Lead en werkt nauw samen met Finance, Financial Control en de programmateams.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opvolgen van programmabudgetten, analyseren van realisaties en opstellen van prognoses en analyses van het budgetverbruik.
  • Voorbereiden van budgetherschikkingen, contractwijzigingen en financiële contractafsluitingen.
  • Controleren van tussentijdse en finale financiële rapporten en bewaken van de aansluiting met inhoudelijke rapportering.
  • Anticiperen op cashbehoeften en tijdig laten aanvragen van voorfinanciering.
  • Opstellen van begrotingen en administratieve en financiële bijlagen voor nieuwe programmavoorstellen.
  • Beoordelen van subsidie- en dienstenovereenkomsten op betalingsvoorwaarden, subsidiabiliteit, rapportering, auditvereisten en risico’s.
  • Ondersteunen van contractonderhandelingen en informeren van programmateams over financiële en administratieve regels.
  • Inrichten van budgetlijnen, analytische codes en verdeelsleutels in ERP-, CRM- en boekhoudsystemen.
  • Afstemmen met aankoop, HR en lokale financiële collega’s over aankoopplannen, personeelskosten en administratieve voorzieningen.
  • Plannen en coördineren van jaarlijks 4 tot 8 programma-audits en uitgavencontroles.
  • Voorbereiden van auditdossiers, begeleiden van auditors en opvolgen van bevindingen en aanbevelingen.
  • Bewaken van contractuele verplichtingen, complianceprocedures en de beoordeling van partners en begunstigden.
  • Opvolgen van lokale juridische en fiscale verplichtingen, samen met financiële collega’s en externe adviseurs.
  • Uitvoeren van risicogerichte controles, onderzoeken van onregelmatigheden en voorstellen van corrigerende maatregelen.
  • Verbeteren van financiële processen, interne controles, dashboards en digitale workflows.
  • Adviseren van het management en bijdragen aan rapportering voor directie en bestuur.
  • Waarborgen van continuïteit bij afwezigheid van de Finance & Administration Lead, binnen specifiek gedelegeerde verantwoordelijkheden.
  • Een master in Finance, Accounting, Bedrijfskunde of een verwante richting, of gelijkwaardige professionele kwalificaties en ervaring.
  • Bij voorkeur minstens 7 jaar relevante ervaring in financieel management, audit, financial control, risicobeheer of compliance.
  • Ervaring met donorfinanciering of internationale organisaties is een troef. Ook kandidaten met sterk potentieel en relevante overdraagbare ervaring komen in aanmerking.
  • Financiële rapportering, interne controles, auditprocessen en compliancevereisten zijn vertrouwd terrein.
  • Complexe financiële en contractuele informatie vertaal je naar heldere risicoanalyses en praktische aanbevelingen.
  • Ervaring met het coördineren van audits, uitgavencontroles of interne compliancecontroles behoort tot je achtergrond.
  • Frans en Engels beheers je vlot. Spaans, Portugees of een andere relevante taal is een pluspunt.
  • Werken met ERP- en CRM-systemen, financiële gegevens en digitale rapporteringstools gaat je gemakkelijk af.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden helpen je samenwerken over afdelingen heen en constructief overleggen met externe partners.
  • Ervaring binnen internationale ontwikkeling of de agrovoedingssector is mooi meegenomen.
