Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

Lead functional support and service in the installation and testing of software, patches, and upgrades to system products. Responsible for analyzing functional requirements, test estimation, creation of test cases and scenarios, test planning, testing of systems developed and reporting of test results for enterprise scale finance applications like PeopleSoft Financials/Oracle Cloud ERP, Blackline, Coupa/Ariba in Finance portfolio. Responsible for building robust regression test suite and perform regression testing for enterprise finance process such as General Ledger, Automated Reconciliations, procure to pay processes of financial applications. Improve technical effectiveness by identifying automatable end to end and regression test cases and build automation suite leveraging Test Driven and Behavior Driven development methods to effectively perform functional and regression testing for upgrades, monthly releases of cloud applications. Build CI/CD pipelines and perform execution of end-to end automated test suite and manage source code in git repositories. Responsible for performing Integration and End to End testing via Integration Broker, Security Console, Batch processes developed using Application Engine through Process scheduler, Workflows, PS Query, Tree Manager. Perform automation testing using PeopleSoft Test Framework for PeopleSoft products. Utilize the enterprise RPA tools (Automation Anywhere) to build BOTs to automate the business process and bring in efficiency for stakeholders in performing daily tasks. Responsible for performing API testing to integrate systems developed with multiple upstream and downstream systems. Perform backend database validations by writing complex SQL queries utilizing SQL developer and MS SQL Server. Build automated test suites for database testing by utilizing ODBC connection jars. Create DDL/DML scripts for production support activities. Participate in daily standup meetings, sprint planning sessions of agile scrum teams to provide Quality Assurance status and gather necessary inputs. Responsible for implementing Quality Assurance best practices like Risk based testing approach and Shift Left approach to efficiently perform system testing. Adhere and apply efficiencies to enterprise Change Management, Incident Management process. Responsible for establishing traceability between requirements and test cases for test coverage. Manage all testing artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test results, defects in Azure Devops, JIRA. Capture quality assurance metrics and Objective and Key Results for continuous improvements in Quality Assurance process. This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Test Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in job offered or as a Test Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.

Requires experience working in enterprise scale PeopleSoft Financials. Requires experience with Process scheduler, PS Query, PS Jobs, Batch processes and report validation. Requires experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework for PeopleSoft Automation. Requires experience with enterprise scale automated reconciliation process in Blackline. Requires experience with enterprise procure to pay process utilizing Ariba or Coupa. Requires experience in Requirement Analysis, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression and end-to end testing processes. Requires experience with test automation tool suite Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG and Unified Functional Testing (UFT). Requires experience building automation frameworks. Requires experience with build tools, including experience with Maven. Requires experience designing, setting up and managing end to end CI/CD pipelines for automation testing using Jenkins. Requires experience with Java or Python. Requires experience with VB or Groovy. Requires experience with SQL databases. Requires experience with API testing utilizing one of the following tools: SOAP UI, Postman, or REST Assured Requires experience with defect tracking, test management, version control and Collaboration tools. Requires experience with Agile, Risk based, Shift Left, Boundary value analysis, Black box and White box software testing methodologies. Requires experience with SDLC process, software release cycles and ServiceNow Change management process. This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

Additional Information

The base pay for this position is generally between $146,870 to $194,173 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
