The posting

Course Consultant (Education Sales & Admissions)

Monthly basic salary: S$4,200–S$5,500, depending on relevant experience and capability Location: Central Singapore Employment: Full time, on site Work week: 5 days Current proposed schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm

First Konnection is recruiting a Course Consultant for an education centre offering children’s learning programmes and school admissions support.

This is a sales role involving direct consultations with parents. You’ll handle enquiries provided by the centre, understand each family’s needs, recommend suitable programmes and follow through to paid enrolments.

The centre’s services include English and mathematics support, early learning and school preparation programmes, and education consultation. You’ll also help families with Singapore international school selection and applications.

Parent Communication

You must be able to conduct detailed consultations independently in both English and Mandarin. This includes explaining programme options and fees, answering parents’ questions, discussing school choices and following up on enrolment decisions.

Both languages are required because the role serves English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking parents.

Responsibilities

  • Understand each family’s education plans, their child’s learning needs and current school situation.
  • Recommend suitable courses and services, involving the academic team where assessment or teaching input is needed.
  • Explain programme content, fees and enrolment arrangements clearly.
  • Follow up with interested families, address their questions and secure enrolments.
  • Coordinate student assessments and explain the academic team’s course recommendations to parents.
  • Support international school research, shortlisting, application checklists, supporting documents and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate enquiry, enrolment and application records.
  • Keep parents informed of progress and support course renewals where further learning support is appropriate.

Requirements

  • Experience in the education industry is essential, with relevant experience in course consultation, education sales, student recruitment, education consulting or admissions.
  • Strong spoken English and Mandarin for the parent consultation duties described above.
  • Ability to turn enquiries into paid enrolments through clear recommendations and consistent follow-up.
  • Working knowledge of Singapore international schools and their admissions processes.
  • Clear written communication and accurate handling of records, documents and application follow-ups.
  • Good organisation and the ability to manage several family enquiries and application deadlines.
  • A professional approach to sales, with recommendations based on each family’s needs.
  • Availability to work on site under the current proposed Tuesday-to-Saturday arrangement.

Experience working in an international school or directly supporting international school admissions will be an advantage.

How to Apply

Apply with your updated resume, highlighting your education industry experience and involvement in course sales, parent consultations or admissions.

Please include your expected basic salary and notice period or earliest availability.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
