The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consumer Loans FLHS Operations Coordinator based in the United States.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Loans FLHS Operations Coordinator to support first-lien home equity line of credit (HELOC) lending products and operational processes. In this role, you will coordinate new product implementation, monitor performance, and help ensure lending activities align with established policies, risk standards, and operational controls. You will work closely with third-party loan origination partners, lenders, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding, consistent execution, and timely issue resolution. The position also involves maintaining operational procedures, supporting process improvements, and coordinating governance and remediation activities. By monitoring loan production and identifying trends, you will help strengthen operational efficiency, documentation accuracy, and overall lending performance. This opportunity is well suited to a mortgage lending professional who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement. The position offers remote work within the organization's operational footprint.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and post-launch support of approved lending products, ensuring processes and procedures align with applicable policies, risk appetite, and established controls.
  • Prepare and deliver standardized management reports covering product implementation status, deployment progress, identified issues, and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor post-launch loan production and operational performance, identifying trends, potential issues, and opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate onboarding and ongoing operational support for third-party originated (TPO) partners and first-lien home equity lenders, including training, pipeline monitoring, job aids, and procedural documentation.
  • Provide operational guidance and real-time support to lending partners and internal stakeholders to promote consistent execution and timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate approved process-improvement initiatives across lending operations and partner functions, supporting implementation, communication, documentation, and adoption of changes.
  • Maintain and administer the operational procedure library, coordinating periodic reviews and updates to ensure documentation remains accurate and current.
  • Support model governance activities by coordinating required model risk management documentation, reviews, updates, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Coordinate responses to audit findings or other identified issues and track remediation activities through completion.
  • Facilitate new-vendor approval processes and ongoing vendor reviews in accordance with established vendor management requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, lenders, vendors, and service providers to support compliant, efficient lending operations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • At least five years of experience across multiple aspects of mortgage lending.
  • Understanding of mortgage lending operations, loan processing workflows, and the procedures involved in supporting consumer lending products.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, track follow-up actions, and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify issues, investigate discrepancies, and support effective problem resolution.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally and promptly with customers, internal colleagues, vendors, and external service providers.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, coordinate operational changes, and support training and implementation activities.
  • A proactive, reliable approach to managing responsibilities, resolving operational challenges, and maintaining compliance with established processes.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Compensation: Base pay plus eligibility for bonuses.
  • Medical coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement savings: 401(k) plan.
  • Healthcare spending options: Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
  • Paid time off: Vacation and sick time.
  • Paid holidays: Paid holiday benefits.
  • Family support: Paid parental leave.
  • Education assistance: Tuition reimbursement.
  • Additional benefits: Other employee benefits may be available; specific details should be confirmed during the hiring process.
  • Work flexibility: Remote work within the organization's operational footprint.
  • Collaborative environment: Opportunity to work across lending operations, vendor management, and partner teams while contributing to process improvements and responsible lending practices.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
