This internship provides a unique opportunity to work alongside an internal, in-house strategy consulting team with a singular focus: the success of the FNBO Commercial Payments team. The intern will gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines — including facilitated learning, sales enablement, performance analytics, customer event support, and strategy development — that collectively influence both the employee and customer experience. This role is ideal for a motivated student with an interest in commercial banking, business strategy, or financial services. As a contributing member of the Payments Optimization team, the intern will build cross-functional relationships and develop a foundational understanding of how enterprise collaboration drives business growth across Treasury Services, Global Banking, and Commercial Card.

About This Role:

· Assisting with the development or refresh of training materials, job aids, and certification resources.

· Supporting the coordination of learning sessions, workshops, and team enablement activities.

· Researching fraud trends, payment industry developments, and competitive intelligence to inform team resources.

· Contributing to the preparation of sales playbooks, presentation templates, and customer-facing materials.

Performance Optimization

· Participating in discovery discussions and process mapping exercises to identify workflow efficiencies.

· Compiling and summarizing findings from data, surveys, or stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable reports.

· Supporting the maintenance and updates of dashboards, pipelines, and performance tracking tools.

· Assisting with the documentation of best practices for sales tools and technology usage.

Strategy Development

Contribute to strategy and planning activities that support Commercial Payments business objectives. Activities may include:

· Supporting annual planning and KPI tracking efforts by gathering and organizing relevant data.

· Assisting with the preparation of executive summaries, strategy documents, and business presentations.

· Conducting research and analysis to support go-to-market strategy, target market identification, and product alignment.

· Contributing to rationalization exercises and business plan documentation under the guidance of senior team members.

Customer & Market Events

Support the planning and execution of customer-facing events and market initiatives that position FNBO as a strategic partner and industry thought leader. Activities may include:

· Assisting with event logistics, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up activities.

· Supporting the development of event materials, surveys, and feedback analysis (e.g., Fraud Forum).

· Helping to document event outcomes and recommendations for future programming.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
