This person enjoys solving problems, working with data, asking thoughtful questions, and turning detailed information into clear, practical insights. They are dependable, coachable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks while collaborating with team members and business partners.

  • Naturally curious and willing to dig into data, processes, and questions to understand how things work.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions, check work carefully, and recognize when something does not look right.
  • Comfortable learning new tools and applying analytical thinking to real business problems.
  • Able to communicate clearly, provide timely updates, ask for help when needed, and incorporate feedback into work products.
  • Interested in building foundational experience in compliance, risk management, data enablement, reporting, automation, or financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with gathering, organizing, validating, and analyzing compliance-related data under the guidance of Data Enablement team members.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, trackers, reports, and summaries that help convert data into clear and actionable information for Compliance stakeholders.
  • Perform assigned analysis to identify trends, exceptions, data quality issues, or process improvement opportunities, and summarize observations in a clear and practical manner.
  • Document data sources, definitions, assumptions, process steps, and reporting logic to support consistency, transparency, and repeatability across Compliance data activities.
  • Help test and review reports, trackers, and automation outputs to confirm information is complete, accurate, and aligned with the assigned objective.
  • Learn and apply analytical, reporting, and automation tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, Power Automate, or other approved tools used by the Compliance department.
  • Assist with maintaining data inventories, reference materials, templates, job aids, and other resources that support data literacy and consistent data practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and project discussions, prepare questions in advance when appropriate, and provide timely updates on assigned work.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks by meeting deadlines, escalating questions or roadblocks, and incorporating feedback into work products.
  • Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail when working with compliance, business, or customer-related information.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, computer science, finance, accounting, economics, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance or demonstrated experience through coursework, projects, internships, student organizations, or work experience involving data analysis, reporting, research, business process improvement, or technology-enabled problem solving.
  • Interest in learning how compliance, risk management, financial services, and data practices work together to support effective oversight and business decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately with data, follow instructions, and identify patterns, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required, including comfort with formulas, sorting, filtering, organizing data, and reviewing information for accuracy; exposure to pivot tables, lookup formulas, Power Query, or structured data cleanup preferred.
  • Exposure to data visualization, reporting, or dashboarding tools such as Power BI or similar platforms preferred.
  • Exposure to basic data querying, scripting, or automation concepts through SQL, Python, Power Automate, macros, low-code/no-code tools, or similar technologies preferred.
  • Interest in using approved generative AI, agentic AI, and automation tools responsibly to improve workflows, summarize information, document processes, support analysis, and reduce manual effort.
  • Ability or willingness to develop clear prompts, evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, identify incomplete or inaccurate results, protect confidential information, and validate outputs before use.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize findings, document work performed, and explain questions or observations clearly.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, accountability, coachability, and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and compliance concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with team members and business partners while maintaining a positive attitude and respect for different working styles and perspectives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
