About Flai
AI has transformed B2B SaaS, but has struggled to penetrate the real-world industries that shape our lives. Flai is building the leading AI-native communications platform for car dealerships.
A $1.3 trillion industry, auto dealerships sell 96% of the 16 million new cars sold each year. Yet they universally run on outdated systems and manual processes, which is why dealerships spend $36B each year on operations. That's our opportunity.
We launched our first voice AI product a year ago. Since then, we have deployed multiple products across hundreds of dealerships across the U.S. We've partnered with the 2nd largest automaker in the country and many of the leading dealership groups. We've raised funding from leading VCs including First Round Capital, Toyota Ventures, Y Combinator, Innovation Endeavors, SV Angel, and Liquid 2.
We've grown insanely quickly with a small, scrappy team and continue to move at that pace.
The Opportunity
You'll work side by side with the founders to run and level up how Flai operates every day. That covers finance, billing, vendors, people ops, and all the projects that don't fit neatly into anyone else's job.
We're growing fast, so there's always something new to build, improve, or solve for the first time. We need someone who loves that kind of challenge, can spot what matters most, and gets it done.
It's a front-row seat to how a company gets built, with real ownership and a direct line to the founders.
Who You Are
- You're a Resourceful Generalist: Drop you into an unfamiliar problem and you'll figure it out.
- You Bring Structure to Chaos: Vague problems turn into clear plans in your hands.
- You're a Finisher: You take projects from idea to done without anyone checking in.
- You're Comfortable With Numbers: Budgets, spreadsheets, and financial basics don't scare you.
- You've Got Great Judgment: You can be trusted with sensitive info across finance and people.
- You're Low Ego: No task is too small if it helps us move faster.
- You're AI-Native: You use tools and automation to get more done with less.
What You'll Do
- Be the founders' right hand: Take things off their plate and keep the company humming as we scale.
- Keep finance running: Support billing, invoicing, and expenses, and work with our accounting partners.
- Own our vendors: Manage contracts, renewals, and the tools and services we rely on.
- Build people operations: Shape onboarding, benefits, and HR processes so every new hire has a great first day and a great first year.
- Run cross-team projects: Launch new processes, evaluate tools, and take on the problems nobody owns yet.
- Make things run better: Find what could run smoother across the business and improve it as we scale.
