What We Do
Provides day-to-day leadership, work direction, and operational support to National Residential Escrow Officers and Escrow Assistants supporting high-volume, multi-state residential transactions. The Team Lead is responsible for workflow balancing, employee coaching, coverage, first-level escalations, and consistent client execution while remaining hands-on in complex transactions and production support as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Provides daily work direction, supervision, coaching, and support to assigned Escrow Officers and Escrow Assistants; serves as the first point of escalation for routine operational matters.
- Monitors workload and redistributes files or responsibilities to support service levels, PTO coverage, same-day closings, and extended-hours needs.
- Supports complex title, escrow, closing, funding, recording, and post-closing matters and provides hands-on production/overflow support during peak periods.
- Coordinates schedules, coverage, workflow, and team communication; assists with onboarding, training, and employee development.
- Helps ensure client-specific procedures, service expectations, and internal controls are followed consistently across multiple states and transaction types.
- Partners with the Escrow Operations Manager on staffing, performance, escalations, process improvement, and implementation of new clients, programs, states, or workflows.
- Works cross-functionally with underwriting, title production, funding, accounting, and other internal partners; escalates higher-risk legal, underwriting, compliance, or performance matters appropriately.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of escrow, title, settlement, or closely related residential closing experience
- Strong working knowledge of title clearance, escrow, closing, funding, recording, and post-closing workflows
- Demonstrated ability to coach, train, mentor, or provide work direction to others.
- Experience handling escalated, complex, high-volume, or multi-state transactions
- Strong judgment, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written/verbal communication and client-service skills
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on production support
- Preferred: national residential, institutional/lender client, remote-team, or prior lead/supervisory experience
Pay Range: $26.88 - $35.82 Hourly, Remote
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
