Sobre el Rol

Como Mecánico Industrial, desempeñarás un papel esencial en garantizar la confiabilidad mecánica y el funcionamiento seguro de los equipos dentro del sitio de Cobre Panamá. Realizarás trabajos de mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y predictivo que apoyan directamente la continuidad y seguridad de las actividades industriales durante la fase de Preservación y Gestión Segura (PSM).

Tus actividades diarias incluirán inspecciones, diagnósticos, reparaciones, ajustes y colaboración con equipos multidisciplinarios. Contribuirás a mantener la integridad de equipos rotativos y estacionarios, asegurar el cumplimiento normativo y fortalecer la excelencia operativa en un entorno industrial de gran escala.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Ejecutar mantenimientos preventivos y correctivos conforme a los planes establecidos.
  • Diagnosticar fallas mecánicas y proponer soluciones seguras y eficientes.
  • Realizar desmontaje, reparación, ajuste y montaje de componentes mecánicos.
  • Llevar a cabo inspecciones rutinarias para verificar condiciones de los equipos y reportar anomalías.
  • Cumplir estrictamente con los procedimientos de seguridad, incluidos los permisos de trabajo y LOTO cuando aplique.
  • Mantener un área de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura.
  • Registrar con precisión todas las actividades de mantenimiento en los sistemas de la compañía.
  • Colaborar con los equipos de electricidad, instrumentación y operaciones cuando sea necesario.
  • Contribuir a la mejora continua en confiabilidad, disponibilidad de equipos y estándares de seguridad.

Requisitos

Formación Académica

  • Título Técnico en Mecánica Industrial, Mecánica de Mantenimiento, Mecánica Automotriz Pesada o carrera afín.
  • Certificaciones técnicas relacionadas (deseable).
  • Experiencia y Conocimientos Técnicos
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en mantenimiento mecánico en entornos industriales, minería, plantas de proceso, generación de energía o instalaciones de gran escala.
  • Conocimiento y experiencia en equipos rotativos y estacionarios, incluyendo bombas, motores, reductores, cajas de engranajes, sistemas hidráulicos/neumáticos, transportadores, chancadores, molinos y otros equipos de proceso.
  • Capacidad para interpretar planos mecánicos y manuales técnicos.
  • Manejo adecuado de herramientas manuales, herramientas eléctricas y equipos de medición.
  • Conocimiento básico en alineación, montaje y desmontaje de componentes mecánicos.
  • Conocimiento de normas de seguridad industrial y uso correcto de EPP.
