Job description:

Propósito

Únete al equipo de Cobre Panamá como Logistics Scheduler – Operaciones de Transporte y Logística. En este rol, serás responsable de planificar, coordinar y monitorear las actividades de transporte requeridas para garantizar la movilización eficiente y segura de materiales, equipos y carga hacia las distintas áreas de la operación. Tendrás la oportunidad de optimizar recursos logísticos, coordinar contratistas y clientes internos, y asegurar el cumplimiento de los programas de transporte mediante una gestión efectiva de costos, capacidades y tiempos de entrega.

Responsabilidades Principales

  • Planificar, actualizar y monitorear programas de transporte para asegurar el cumplimiento de las necesidades operativas y los compromisos de entrega.
  • Coordinar la asignación de flota, recursos logísticos y servicios de transporte terrestre y marítimo de acuerdo con los requerimientos del negocio.
  • Gestionar la movilización de carga general, sobredimensionada y materiales regulados, garantizando el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad y las normativas aplicables.
  • Coordinar con contratistas y clientes internos para asegurar la ejecución eficiente de los planes de transporte y resolver desviaciones operativas.
  • Monitorear indicadores de desempeño logístico, utilización de recursos, cumplimiento de programas y costos asociados a las operaciones de transporte.
  • Preparar reportes operativos, mantener registros logísticos actualizados y apoyar los procesos de control y validación de servicios prestados por contratistas.
  • Identificar oportunidades de mejora continua que contribuyan a optimizar la eficiencia operativa, la utilización de recursos y la gestión de costos logísticos.

Calificaciones

  • Título universitario o técnico en Logística, Supply Chain Management, Ingeniería o carreras afines.
  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en logística, transporte, programación de actividades o roles similares.
  • Experiencia en planificación y programación de transporte, incluyendo asignación de recursos y coordinación de entregas.
  • Conocimiento práctico de operaciones de transporte terrestre y marítimo, así como de procesos asociados a movilización de carga.
  • Experiencia coordinando contratistas, transportistas y múltiples clientes internos en entornos operativos.
  • Capacidad para analizar información operativa, gestionar prioridades simultáneas y responder a cambios en la programación.
  • Dominio de Microsoft Office, especialmente Excel para seguimiento, control y análisis de información logística.

Deseables

  • Experiencia con sistemas ERP, preferiblemente JDE Oracle.
  • Conocimiento y manejo de Microsoft Project.
  • Experiencia en análisis de costos logísticos y optimización de recursos de transporte.
  • Conocimiento de normativas y regulaciones aplicables al transporte de mercancías peligrosas.
  • Experiencia gestionando carga sobredimensionada y requerimientos especiales de movilización.
  • Experiencia en seguimiento de indicadores de desempeño logístico y elaboración de reportes operativos.
