Job Description

Important! Effectively immediately, Flagler College Students are only permitted to have two (2) active work study assignments at a time.

Fall Sports:

  • We cover Men’s and Women’s soccer, Volleyball and Men’s and Women’s basketball
  • These sports offer numerous roles such as: music operator, scoreboard operator, shot clock and game clock operator, PA announcer, book tracker, and ball runners and lastly tickets

Spring Sports:

  • We cover Baseball, Softball, Men’s and Women’s lacrosse, and Men’s and Women’s basketball
  • These sports offer numerous roles such as: music operator, scoreboard operator, shot clock and game clock operator, PA announcer, book tracker, foul ball tracker, participation tracker, penalty tracker and lastly tickets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer/guest service
  • Assist with set up and take down of athletic events
  • Operate scoreboard/ game clock/ message center for various sports
  • Provide support during halftime/ in-game promotions
  • Sell event tickets and keep the money bank accurate
  • Any other duties as assignment by the Game Operations and Facilities Director

Qualifications

  • Must be a full time student at Flagler College
  • Night and weekend availability
  • May require lifting and moving of objects
  • A general knowledge of sports is preferred but not required
