🚀 About the role

We're looking for a Founder Associate to work side by side with our CEO and make FLEXeCHARGE run better every week. Our HARMON-E platform manages load and energy for EV charging operators across Europe, built by a highly specialised team in Copenhagen and Germany.

You'll split your time between three things: driving company priorities with the CEO, owning our People function, and running our Copenhagen office. You'll get things done day to day, and you'll find smarter ways of working through better systems and automation.

You'll be part of our Admin & General team, which also includes Finance. You'll work closely with your colleagues there every day, from payroll and budgets to vendor agreements and board material, so strong collaboration is a core part of the role.

⚡ What is special about this role

You'll sit at the centre of the company. You'll work directly with the CEO, see how decisions get made in a growing climate-tech scale-up, and own the follow-through that turns those decisions into results.

You're also our People function. You'll shape how we hire, onboard, develop and celebrate our team, and how our Frederiksberg office looks and feels. You'll organise the moments that bring us together, from Friday bars and workshops to company events.

🛠️ What you'll do

Roughly 40% strategy and execution with the CEO, 35% culture and workplace, 25% People operations. The mix will shift with the company's needs.

Strategy & execution with the CEO

  • Co-design our next scaling phase. Shape the organisational development of the company together with the CEO.
  • Own the alignment. Prepare leadership, management and all-hands meetings, capture decisions and make sure actions are closed.
  • Lead strategic projects. Run high-priority initiatives end to end, backed by research and a clear recommendation.
  • Support the CEO. Prepare board and investor material, manage priorities and calendar, and follow up with stakeholders.

People operations

  • Lead recruitment end to end and build a hiring process that scales.
  • Be the go-to for People questions on contracts, leave, benefits and policies, employee handbook, and handle sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Run the review and development cycle, from remuneration reviews to development talks.
  • Keep People admin running and improving: payroll for Denmark and Germany, the employee handbook, our work environment organisation (AMO) and compliance, and smarter systems.

Culture & workplace

  • Turn our values into everyday practice through onboarding, recognition and internal communication, including the all-hands and company updates.
  • Bring the team together with events and workshops, from Friday bars to the Christmas dinner.
  • Keep our Copenhagen office welcoming and running, including supplies and service providers.

✅ What we're looking for

Must-have

  • 1–4 years of experience in a fast-paced role such as startup operations, People operations, consulting, a founder's office or a graduate programme.
  • A strong get-it-done mentality: you take ownership, move quickly and close loops without being chased.
  • Structured thinking: you can take a messy problem, break it down and come back with a clear recommendation.
  • Excellent organisational skills, discretion with confidential information and the ability to juggle priorities independently.
  • Comfort with data and tools: you're confident in spreadsheets and slides, and you look for ways to automate repetitive work.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Danish or German are a strong preference.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Danish employment law and People practices.
  • Experience with office management or workplace coordination.
  • An interest in energy, climate tech or EV charging.
  • Hands-on recruitment experience, from job posting to signed contract.

📈 Where this role can grow

This role grows with you and with the company. As you prove yourself, you'll take on bigger projects and more ownership.

  • Toward Chief of Staff, owning company planning and the leadership agenda as the team scales.
  • Toward Head of People, building out the People function as we grow across Denmark and Germany.
  • Into a business role, such as operations, partnerships or customer success, once you know the company inside out.

You'll have regular development talks with the CEO to decide which direction fits you best.
