  • Participate in campus crisis response activities following disruptive events.

Other Duties

  • Coordinate specific center programming areas consistent with interests and expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Psychologist by the State of Florida.
  • Experience utilizing a variety of culturally competent and evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy modalities, as well as in providing crisis intervention, outreach/consultation, and referral services.
  • Ability to manage the professional demands of a fast-paced and challenging workload, utilizing strong time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and make clear, ethical, and timely decisions to manage complex cases and to provide supervision, training, and/or consultation, as needed.
  • Knowledge of professional ethical principles/guidelines, relevant state laws, and the ethical and legal issues regarding mental health practice, as well as the ability to interpret/apply laws, policies, and procedures consistently.
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a university counseling center and in providing crisis intervention and short-term psychotherapy services to a diverse clientele with a full range of mental health concerns.
  • Interest and experience in providing supervision and training activities with students at the doctoral level.
  • Administrative and computer application skills to effectively implement and maintain a case management and tracking system.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
