The posting

You connect with business owners. You ask the right questions, quickly understand their situation and guide them towards the right financing solution. You enjoy working with warm leads, take ownership of your pipeline and know how to turn commercial opportunities into deals. You are comfortable working independently, but never operate on an island: you work closely with your team and step in when needed.

Floryn is looking for an Account Executive Germany who combines commercial drive with ownership and wants to play a key role in the next phase of growth of our German business.

Floryn is one of the fastest-growing FinTechs in the Netherlands and is expanding across Europe. While others talk about innovation in finance, we make it happen. With our proprietary technology and data-driven approach, we are revolutionising business lending by making financing fast, easy and flexible for entrepreneurs.

With over €800 million in SME loans funded and a team of 70+ passionate professionals, we have already taken our first major steps in Germany. The foundation is there. Now it is time to accelerate.

Our ambition is to grow our German loan book significantly over the coming months. As Account Executive, you will be directly involved in making that happen by turning a continuous flow of inbound opportunities into new Floryn clients.

What will you be doing?

As Account Executive Germany, you will be part of our small and ambitious German commercial team. You work closely with your direct sales colleagues, Partner Managers, Client Success Managers and colleagues from Underwriting, Risk and Compliance.

Your focus is clear: inbound sales and closing.

There is no cold acquisition. German entrepreneurs already find their way to Floryn through channels such as paid search, direct applications and our partner network. Many have actively requested contact and have already shared information about their business.

From there, you take ownership.

You speak with the entrepreneur, understand their business and financing needs, explain Floryn's solution and guide them through the sales process towards a successful financing.

At the same time, Germany is still a growing operation. Not every process is set in stone yet. You will therefore have the freedom to spot opportunities, improve the way we work and contribute to how we scale our German business.

Your responsibilities

  • Inbound sales & closing You handle warm inbound leads from channels such as paid search, direct applications and our partner network. You qualify opportunities, identify commercial potential and guide entrepreneurs towards a successful financing. No cold calling: your focus is on converting genuine opportunities into clients.
  • Client conversations You conduct structured conversations with German business owners. You ask the right questions to understand their company, financial situation, financing needs and plans. Based on this, you explain Floryn's financing solution clearly, honestly and pragmatically.
  • Funnel & pipeline management You take ownership of your pipeline from first contact to closing. You prioritise opportunities, follow up proactively and keep deals moving through the sales funnel. Much of our process is supported by technology and automation, but your judgement, communication and commercial instinct make the difference.
  • Collaboration on cases You work closely with colleagues across Direct Sales, Partner Management and Client Success. On more complex financing cases, you collaborate with Underwriting, Risk, Compliance and Legal to find the right solution for the client.
  • Commercial ownership You work towards clear commercial targets and take responsibility for your results. You are comfortable working with numbers and data and use them to understand your pipeline, prioritise opportunities and improve your performance.
  • Continuous improvement Germany is growing fast, which means there is always room to improve. You actively contribute ideas to improve lead handling, sales workflows and the overall client journey. You don't wait for someone else to solve every problem: when you see something that can be better, you take initiative.
  • Teamwork You are part of a small team with ambitious goals. That means you have your own responsibilities, but also help colleagues when capacity is tight. We work across teams when needed and expect people to care about the collective result, not just their individual numbers.

Preferred location and way of working

To stay close to our German client base while keeping travel to our Dutch headquarters practical, we prefer candidates based in western Germany, for example around Köln, Düsseldorf, Dortmund or Essen, or in the Netherlands.

The role offers significant flexibility and can largely be performed remotely from Germany. At the same time, we believe that joining a new team and learning our business works best when you spend real time together.

During your first month, we therefore expect you to spend significant time with the team at our headquarters in Den Bosch, ideally from Monday to Thursday. This allows you to learn the product, understand our way of working and build strong relationships with your colleagues.

After your onboarding period, you will mainly work remotely and join the team in Den Bosch at least once a month for team days, collaboration and events.

Business travel and accommodation are arranged and reimbursed by Floryn.

We are not necessarily looking for someone who already knows everything about business lending or FinTech. Product knowledge and financial expertise can be learned.

What matters more is how you think, communicate and take responsibility.

You are commercially driven, eager to learn and comfortable working in an environment that is growing quickly and where not everything has been fully structured yet.

  • Native German and fluent English. Dutch is not required but would be a plus.
  • Experience in a commercial or customer-facing role, or clear potential to develop quickly in a structured sales environment.
  • Commercial drive and the motivation to turn opportunities into deals.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to speak with entrepreneurs about their businesses and financing needs.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, financial information and performance data.
  • A strong sense of ownership: you manage your own pipeline and proactively follow up on opportunities.
  • A team-player mentality. You work independently when needed, but actively collaborate with and support the people around you.
  • Affinity with financial products, SaaS or FinTech is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Experience with CRM systems and structured sales workflows is a plus.
  • Available full-time for 40 hours per week.

What we offer

  • A key commercial role in the next phase of Floryn's growth in Germany.
  • A salary between €3,800 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience.
  • 28 vacation days.
  • A flexible remote working setup, combined with regular collaboration with the team in Den Bosch.
  • Personal development budget of €2,500 plus wellness allowance.
  • MacBook, iPhone, noise-cancelling headphones and everything you need to work effectively.
  • Full reimbursement of business travel, including first-class train options.
  • An international scale-up environment with short lines, autonomy and ownership.
  • The opportunity to learn the world of business financing and FinTech on the job.
  • Company events, offsites and team gatherings in the Netherlands.
  • A small, ambitious team in which your contribution is directly visible.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
