  • Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
  • Verify calibration status of measuring and inspection equipment prior to use and report any discrepancies.
  • Document machining and inspection results while maintaining accurate quality records and production documentation.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, cleanliness, foreign material exclusion (FME), and quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of machining experience operating manual machine tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and surface finish requirements.
  • Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows-based systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNC programming and CNC machining experience.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Mechanical Inspector, Precision Inspector, or Dimensional Inspection experience.
  • Experience maintaining calibration programs for measurement equipment and tooling.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience working in nuclear, aerospace, defense, pump manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of Human Performance Tools, Procedural Use and Adherence, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
