The posting

Fluxys is an international energy infrastructure group with 1,300 employees active in gas transmission & storage and liquefied natural gas terminalling.

As a purpose-led company, we’re committed to fast-track the shift to a carbon neutral world. We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.

The General Services Department plays a key role within Fluxys and fosters a safe, efficient and pleasant working environment. The team manages buildings and workspaces as well as support services such as reception, catering, cleaning, mail handling, reprographics, parking facilities and the vehicle fleet. With a strong focus on service quality, customer orientation and continuous improvement, General Services contributes to the well-being of staff and the operational efficiency of Fluxys on a daily basis.

For the General Services Department, we’re looking for a people-oriented Workplace Experience Officer (m/f/x) who will make our Fluxys Headquarters environment more efficient, welcoming and pleasant every day for staff, visitors and stakeholders alike.

Job purpose

You will ensure that our non-technical services at Fluxys Headquarters run smoothly and are customer-focused and reliable. You are responsible for the management, quality, and continuous improvement of all facility services. From workplace services, mail, printing and parking to budgets, teams and external partners: you will cultivate a working environment in which people can collaborate in an efficient and enjoyable way.

Your responsibilities

  • You manage and improve the day-to-day running of the office environment, workspaces and support services at Fluxys Headquarters.
  • You manage a team and will be responsible for delivering services related to reception, catering, cleaning, events, mail, reprographics, parking, and workplace services. You ensure that these services operate efficiently, meet the expectations of internal customers, and contribute to an optimal employee experience.
  • You enhance the employee experience by prioritising comfort, service, well-being and efficiency.
  • You coordinate services such as reception, catering, cleaning, events, mail, reprographics, parking and workplace services.
  • You ensure that services are provided properly, in a traceable manner and with a focus on the customer, including for critical mail flows and communication support.
  • You manage budgets, resources and external partners, and will make decisions based on quality, efficiency and user impact.
  • You initiate and lead Workplace Experience improvement projects by applying a structured methodology and defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs to continuously enhance employee satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the quality of services delivered.
  • You translate the workplace experience objectives into specific team targets and improvement initiatives, in line with Fluxys’ values and the HSE policy.
  • You coach and motivate internal staff and external partners to work together to deliver a reliable, professional and welcoming service.
  • You work closely with P&O, Safety, IT, Communications and other stakeholders, and keep abreast of developments relating to hybrid working, hospitality and the workplace experience.

About you

  • You hold a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional experience.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in Facility Management (soft services) or Hospitality Management, with a strong focus on employee experience, continuous service improvement, and the effective management of budgets and resources.
  • You have at least 3 years of direct people management experience. You lead teams and external partners in a collaborative and inclusive manner and bring structure to a diverse and complex operational environment.
  • You also demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant experience managing multiple suppliers and contractors.
  • You have led Workplace service optimization initiatives, applying a structured project management and continuous improvement methodology, while defining and monitoring relevant KPIs to enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • You demonstrate diplomacy and assertiveness in your interactions with a wide range of stakeholders. You communicate clearly and manage expectations in a professional manner. You build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Through your network, you are able to create connections, foster collaboration, and generate value for the organization.
  • You possess strong operational organisational skills and a clear service-oriented mindset.
  • You deal with uncertainty with ease, set the right priorities and stay focused on your goals.
  • You are curious and eager to learn, keep a close eye on relevant developments in your field, take into account the wider implications of your actions and decisions, and are not afraid to critically question existing processes and working methods with a view to driving continuous improvement.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a basic grasp of English.

Why should you apply?

We offer a very attractive package of extra-legal benefits, including a.o.: collective and individual bonus, company car, smartphone, internet, expense allowance, meal vouchers, cafeteria plan, 38 holidays, intervention of 30% on your energy bill, hospitalisation and outpatient care insurance for the whole family, pension plan, as well as the possibility of working from home.

But above all:

  • Contribute and innovate towards a carbon-neutral world
  • Develop and shape a brilliant career in a fast-growing international group
  • Showcase your strong appetite to contribute towards an array of dynamic projects that challenge your intellect

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
