Job Description:

The Role

As Director of Product Strategy at Fidelity Digital Assets℠ you will join a small, focused team responsible for defining the product strategy for the institutional business and executing on that strategy through delivery of new, innovative products. This team balances big-picture strategy development with in-the-weeds product design and execution. Our goal is to bring products to market that provide our clients with comprehensive, best-in-class offerings and help to advance the digital assets ecosystem. Building those products will require interpreting market needs, owning the product roadmap, and working with development and design teams to bring the product to life. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team looking for individuals with a passion for capital markets and blockchain technologies eager to advance the digital assets ecosystem.

· Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, defining the 'what', 'why', and 'how' for new offerings

· Cover a broad range of opportunities across the Fidelity Digital Assets℠ platform, including design and launch of new product offerings, build and scale core blockchain/wallet capabilities, and designing new user experiences across multiple channels

· Develop business cases for new product offerings, including considerations for commercial value, operations and technology requirements, and compliance with regulations

· Interact directly with our clients and industry partners to deeply understand the market

· Collaborate with internal business partners across technology, risk, compliance, legal, operations and service teams to drive pivotal initiatives and influence the enterprise’s digital assets strategy

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

The right person for this role can take a long-term view on digital asset markets and how blockchain could revolutionize financial market operations. This person should have a deep understanding of how financial markets and market participants function today, understand blockchain and digital assets, and can bring the two together to drive Fidelity's digital asset strategy.

· BA/BS required

· 7 -10 years of product management and/or corporate strategy experience in financial services

· Deep understanding of how capital markets function across asset classes including market structure, key operational functions, and regulatory constructs

· Knowledge of and evidenced interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology

· Proven experience leading product concepts from incubation to production at scale, in compliance with applicable regulations

· Ability to translate product vision into discrete, actionable plans including delivery of technical designs, build/buy/partner decisions, and product delivery plans

· Commercial mindset and understanding of financial concepts; ability to develop quantitative analysis to support product and other investment proposals

· Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver business results

· Strong communication, presentation, and product management skills

· Ability to influence even when holding a position contrary to the majority

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
