The ideal candidate combines customer empathy, product thinking, business acumen, and technical understanding to deliver solutions that create value for customers and business partners alike. This individual will work closely with engineering, design, analytics, and business teams to define product strategy, prioritize investments, and drive successful execution. Candidates must be able to leverage data to inform decisions, synthesize and clearly communicate insights, and apply a customer-first mindset with ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning to deliver impactful results.

Experience within the financial data sharing ecosystem, open finance, fintech partnerships, API products, or digital platforms is highly desirable.

Product Strategy and Discovery

  • Evaluate competitive offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.

Customer Experience

  • Translate customer insights into product features and capabilities.
  • Define user journeys and product experiences that improve customer outcomes.
  • Advocate for solutions that balance customer value, business objectives, and operational efficiency.
  • Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve products and experiences.

Product Planning and Execution

  • Define and maintain product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Partner with engineering and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Drive prioritization decisions based on customer impact, business value, risk, and technical feasibility.
  • Support product launches, adoption initiatives, and ongoing optimization efforts.

Ecosystem and Partnership Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities that enhance customer value and business growth.
  • Support initiatives involving APIs, digital connectivity, data exchange, and third-party integrations.
  • Monitor industry developments related to financial technology, open finance, digital ecosystems, and data sharing.
  • Contribute to product strategies that leverage evolving ecosystem capabilities and market opportunities.

The Expertise and Skille You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7 plus years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital products or technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in agile product development environments.
  • Ability to translate customer and business needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, digital banking, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of open finance, API-driven platforms, or digital ecosystem business models.
  • Familiarity with financial data sharing frameworks (FDX) and connectivity solutions.
  • Experience working with third-party integrations, APIs, and platform partnerships.
  • Understanding of consumer-permissioned data sharing, digital identity, authentication, and consent management concepts.
  • Experience using product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Experience leveraging analytics and customer insights to inform product decisions.

The Team

The Access API team provides a unified view of customer-authorized financial information across multiple business lines and product types. Through a secure, client-consented experience, customers can authorize the sharing of their financial data with approved third-party applications and service providers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
