Responsibilities
- Ensure timely shipment delivery in accordance with customer requirements and service expectations.
- Monitor and track ocean freight shipments throughout the transportation process to maintain shipment visibility and provide timely updates.
- Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to manage shipment data, monitor operational performance, and support data-driven logistics reporting.
- Coordinate closely with ocean carriers to manage shipment schedules and support on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with shipping lines and customs brokers to facilitate smooth and efficient import operations.
- Prepare and review import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the import process.
- Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in ocean import operations, international freight forwarding, or a related logistics field preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant academic or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in Korean and English is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
The base salary range for this role is between $50,000-$65,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
