Food Warehousing & Distribution (FWD) is de vaste logistieke partner van Pauwels Sauzen, één van de grootste sauzenproducenten in Europa. Ze staan in voor een integrale logistieke dienstverlening waarbij de magazijnen te Geel, speciaal uitgerust zijn voor droge en geconditioneerde opslag. Een belangrijke schakel in de end-to-end cyclus van Pauwels Sauzen om hun producten bij hun klanten te krijgen. Met een netwerk van niet-productiesite gebonden magazijnen zijn hun kernactiviteiten talrijk: FWD neemt de hele toeleveringsketen van verladers (of producenten) integraal over: non-food (verpakkingsmateriaal) afroepen, de voorraad monitoren, bestelopdrachten genereren, THT-bewaking, VAL-activiteiten, inslag, opslag, colli picking, pallet picking, transport, distributie, facturering ...

Om FWD strategisch en operationeel naar een hoger niveau te tillen en verdere groei te realiseren, zijn wij voor hun magazijnen te Geel op zoek naar een Site Operations Manager.

Jobomschrijving

  • Om verdere professionalisering te realiseren, vorm je in deze rol een tandem met de huidige Warehouse & Distribution Manager. Samen staan jullie in voor het optimale verloop en de coördinatie, organisatie en uitvoering van de operationele werkzaamheden van alle - niet productiesite gebonden - magazijnen (1 intern en 4 externe) binnen de Pauwels groep. Je geeft een operationeel beleid vorm in lijn met de vooropgestelde organisatiestrategie.
  • Je draagt de volledige budgetverantwoordelijkheid over de locatie. Hierbij stuur je actief op de grootste kosten, zoals personeel en transport, en optimaliseer je de operationele uitgaven.
  • Daarnaast neem je het facilitaire beheer van het gebouw (facilities) onder je hoede en trek je de contractonderhandelingen met onze logistieke partners en transporteurs.
  • Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt dat interne afdelingen, externe magazijnen en transportpartners met elkaar verbindt. Als spilfiguur zorg je ervoor dat zowel de interne als externe logistieke processen naadloos op elkaar aansluiten. Door jouw inzicht en coördinatie lopen processen niet alleen vlot, maar worden ze ook slimmer en efficiënter. Je bent actief bezig met stakeholdermanagement om een vlotte samenwerking tussen interne en externe stakeholders te bewaken.
  • Je leidt en motiveert een divers team, waarbij je inzet op coaching en resultaatgerichtheid. Dit team bestaat uit een vaste equipe van zo’n 35 medewerkers vermeerderd met 25 medewerkers van een maatwerkbedrijf. Je zorgt voor een geïntegreerde werking van alle activiteiten waarbij je processen continu optimaliseert.
  • Naast het dagelijkse beheer werk je dus ook actief aan procesverbetering en digitalisering. Je kijkt kritisch naar bestaande workflows, detecteert knelpunten en zet verbeterprojecten op die leiden tot kostenbesparing en hogere servicelevels. Daarbij maak je gebruik van ERP (MD365) en stuur je op KPI’s om prestaties meetbaar en transparant te maken.
  • Zo fungeer je als Business Proces Owner van de logistieke processen binnen de implementatie van het ERP-systeem. Je onderneemt acties om het gebruik en de output van D365 verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Supply Chain Director.
  • Je behaalde minimaal een bachelor diploma en je kan ervaring aantonen in een soortgelijke functie in een omgeving die warehousing met productie/operations combineert.
  • Je bent een leider met een “no-nonsense en hands-on” mentaliteit. Je houdt ervan medewerkers te coachen, inspireren en motiveren.
  • Je bent een sterke communicator op verschillende niveaus zowel binnen als buiten de organisatie o.a. met maatwerkbedrijven, leveranciers, transporteurs. Je bent assertief en in staat mensen te overtuigen zodat ze zich betrokken voelen.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk, accuraat en hebt een goed inzicht in bedrijfs- en logistieke processen, waarbij je idealiter ook over aantoonbare ervaring beschikt met contractonderhandelingen en het beheren van aanzienlijke budgetten.
  • Je gedrevenheid, je organisatorische vaardigheden, je flexibiliteit en je aandacht voor veiligheid en kwaliteit zorgen ervoor dat je het verschil maakt.
  • Je beschikt over een flinke dosis ownership: je bent proactief, resultaatgericht en besluitvaardig.
  • Dankzij je stressbestendigheid ben je in staat om snel te schakelen, daardoor blijf je steeds kwaliteitsbewust en behoud je je zin voor verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je bent in staat nieuwe processen te implementeren, hierbij heb je kennis en ervaring met ERP en WMS.
