Senior Ecommerce Executive - SEVENSTORE

Hybrid | Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Description

We are looking for a Senior Ecommerce Executive to join our Ecommerce team at SEVENSTORE. This role plays a critical part in driving onsite performance, supporting trading strategy execution, and delivering best‑in‑class customer journeys across the website.

Working closely with the Digital Trade Manager, the Senior Ecommerce Executive will take greater ownership of key trading areas, mentor Ecommerce Executives, and help translate commercial strategy into day‑to‑day execution.

The Team

The role sits within the larger Ecommerce department and will involve working extremely closely with the wider team. As part of our Ecommerce team, the responsibility of the Ecommerce Executive will be to assist in driving website performance by working with the Creative and Art working teams to update content across the website, with key brand stories and marketing messages. You will also assist with other on-site optimisations including creating and testing segmented customer experiences and developing search and merch rulesets to remove friction from the customer journey.

About You

You will be an experienced Ecommerce professional with strong onsite trading knowledge and a commercially driven mindset. You are confident operating with autonomy, but collaborative by nature.

You will be analytically minded and motivated.

You will be confident using web analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4).

You will have managed multiple projects and met deadlines as and when required.

Along with:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft excel and confident using functions like vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Be confident communicating with cross‑functional teams and presenting insights clearly
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage own workload.
  • A proactive attitude and must be able to thrive in a varied and fast paced environment.
  • Experience in an ecommerce trading role, ideally within fashion or a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Have a strong understanding of onsite merchandising, CRO principles and ecommerce best practice
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Be analytically strong and comfortable translating data into action
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering best-in-class customer journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Digital Trade Manager in delivering the ecommerce trading strategy to improve conversion, revenue, margin and customer experience
  • Owning day‑to‑day onsite trading across priority categories, campaigns and launches
  • Leading onsite execution of trade calendars, promotional activity, launches and brand moments
  • Taking accountability for site merchandising performance, including navigation, PLPs, search, collections and landing pages
  • Proactively identifying commercial opportunities through performance analysis and customer behaviour insights
  • Supporting forecasting, trading reports and performance commentary across daily, weekly and monthly reviews
  • Acting as a key point of contact for Creative, UX, CRM, Buying and Merchandising teams to deliver aligned onsite activity
  • Supporting SEO‑led content initiatives and optimisation of onsite search and merchandising logic
  • Ensuring stock availability, sell‑through and margin considerations are reflected in onsite decisions
  • Troubleshooting onsite issues, raising risks early and ensuring trading standards remain high at all times
  • Supporting the execution of affiliate activity, ensuring campaigns, promotions and onsite journeys are aligned to trading priorities and performance objectives.

Recruitment Process

We review applications on an individual basis, and if we feel you would be a good fit we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role, and to see if we’re a good fit for you.

We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, giving you a chance to learn about what we are doing in an informal and friendly environment. Please note, this is not a remote role and our expectation is that you will be able to attend Head Office in a hybrid way, in Greater Manchester.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
