About the Company

At Fora, we’re reimagining what the workplace can be.

We create inspiring, design-led spaces that blend hospitality, community, and wellbeing, so people can work productively, creatively, and happily.

From our first London workspace over 20 years ago, we’ve grown to 60+ locations across the UK, supporting 30,000+ members and partnering with trailblazing brands.

Backed by The Office Group, Blackstone, and Brockton Capital, we’re growing fast and pioneering conscious design, sustainable construction, and workspaces that empower people to work in their own unique way.

At Fora, we’re not just shaping workplaces, we’re shaping the future of work.

The Role

How we manage our supplier relationships and spend has a direct impact on Fora’s commercial performance. We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to help strengthen procurement across the business, delivering sustainable cost efficiencies while maintaining the quality and standards our teams rely on.

This is more than a traditional sourcing role. You’ll combine commercial insight, market knowledge and strong negotiation skills to challenge spend, identify opportunities for better value and build supplier relationships that support the needs of the business.

Working closely with Finance, Operations, Legal and other teams across Fora, you’ll turn business requirements into effective procurement strategies, commercially robust agreements and measurable outcomes. You’ll also help develop procurement capability within the team, sharing your expertise and supporting continuous improvement.

Please note this position is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from anywhere. The role is based in London.

Why This Role Matters

As Fora continues to grow, effective procurement plays an important role in maintaining financial discipline and ensuring we get the best possible value from our supplier partnerships.

Success will mean creating meaningful and sustainable savings, strengthening supplier performance and giving stakeholders greater visibility of costs, risks and opportunities. You’ll also help evolve our procurement processes, making them more efficient and better equipped to support the changing needs of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Procurement Strategy & Commercial Value

  • Support the development and delivery of procurement strategies that align with Fora’s wider business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve value through specification, price, efficiency, demand and alternative sourcing approaches.
  • Bring external market insight into procurement decisions, including supplier developments, cost drivers and best practice.
  • Balance cost efficiency with quality, service and the operational needs of the business.

Supplier Management & Negotiation

  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers, creating clear expectations around quality, cost and delivery.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation and due diligence to ensure procurement decisions are commercially robust.
  • Develop and lead negotiation strategies that deliver strong outcomes for Fora.
  • Take contracts through the sourcing and approval process, ensuring the appropriate controls, standards and requirements are met.

Cost Management & Commercial Insight

  • Work with departmental stakeholders to establish realistic cost expectations and supplier forecasts.
  • Monitor supplier spend against budgets, identifying variances, risks and opportunities for intervention.
  • Analyse spend categories to identify the key drivers of cost and opportunities for greater efficiency.
  • Provide clear reporting on supplier performance, cost trends and procurement KPIs to support better decision-making.

Process Improvement & Risk

  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, systems and tools, challenging established ways of working where there is a better approach.
  • Assess and manage procurement risks, including supplier disruption, cost pressures and commercial inefficiencies.
  • Strengthen business continuity by helping develop contingency plans for critical suppliers and services.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with internal controls, policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Team Development

  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, Operations, Legal and other teams to ensure procurement supports wider business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and create support for cost-efficiency and procurement initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues, sharing procurement expertise and supporting their development.
  • Help create a culture of continuous improvement, commercial thinking and accountability within the Procurement team.

Why Fora?

This role offers the opportunity to influence commercial decisions across a growing, multi-site business, with exposure to a broad range of suppliers, stakeholders and spend categories.

Your work will have a direct and measurable impact, from supplier strategy and negotiation to cost management and process improvement, helping Fora operate efficiently while maintaining the quality and experience expected across our spaces.

About You

You’re commercially minded and comfortable challenging established thinking when there is an opportunity to create better value. You combine an analytical approach with sound judgement, understanding that successful procurement is about balancing cost with quality, risk and long-term supplier performance.

You build credible relationships with stakeholders and suppliers and can move confidently between detailed analysis and commercial conversations. You’re proactive in identifying opportunities, comfortable taking ownership and keen to share your expertise with others.

Requirements

Essential Experience

  • A proven track record in procurement, with experience across sourcing, category management and supplier management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and risk management.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and leading successful supplier negotiations.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and commercial relationships.
  • The ability to analyse complex data and translate it into clear commercial insight.
  • Experience using data visualisation platforms such as Power BI.
  • Experience reviewing budgets, tracking costs and reporting against forecasts.
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across different business functions.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a private equity-backed, real estate or consumer-focused business.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects or within complex organisational structures.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel or financial modelling capability.
  • A relevant degree, postgraduate qualification or professional certification.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
