Responsibilities
- Greet and assist every customer who enters the showroom or sales lot with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Guide customers through vehicle selection by asking thoughtful questions and listening carefully to their needs
- Explain vehicle performance, technology, available upgrades, accessories, and dealership benefits clearly and confidently
- Conduct facility tours and provide a best-in-class customer experience from first contact to close
- Overcome objections and close sales by following the dealership's established sales process
- Build lasting customer relationships and maintain strong rapport to drive repeat and referral business
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals as set by dealership leadership
- Report daily to the Sales Manager on contacts, objectives, planned activities, and prospect analysis
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity in the dealership CRM
- Uphold Acura's Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) standards at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior automotive sales experience preferred
- Comfortable with a commission-based compensation structure
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn dealership CRM and other tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Self-motivated with strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
