About the location:

An iconic hideaway on the glamorous Athens riviera, reborn. On the sophisticated Athens Riviera, at the tip of a pine-clad peninsula, Four Seasons offers the best of both worlds: a laid-back seaside escape just 30 minutes from the historical city centre. Discover the wonders of ancient civilization at the Acropolis, then return to Four Seasons to unwind and relax. Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, one of the World's 50 Best Hotels, we are looking for a dedicated and service-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of the hotel's public areas in accordance with Four Seasons standards. Through attention to detail, proactive service, and a commitment to excellence, you will help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests while contributing to the overall guest experience.

What You Will Do

  • Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule.
  • Cleans and self-inspects public areas as assigned and in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area. Promotes hotel services and products.
  • Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction. Offers a special service touch when an opportunity is presented.
  • To keep public area pantries tidy and correctly stocked and closed at all times when not in use. Must ensure working equipment is always clean, tidy and in good working order.
  • Maintain and clean the public washrooms. Each washroom to be checked each hour as a minimum.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.

What You Bring

  • Applicants must have a European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece.
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping, Public Area Cleaning, or a related hospitality role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and passion for guest service.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule & Hours

Permanent Position. 5 working days per week, with 2 days off. Schedule is flexible and may change weekly according to business needs.
