About the location:

Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort offers a luxurious adults-only wellness enclave on the secluded Hawaiian island of Lāna‘i. Unmatched hospitality, reputable specialists and natural beauty combine to offer a completely customized experience to discover one’s greatest well-being. At the heart of it all is the Sensei Way, an evidence-led approach integrating healthy living practices into three simple paths – Move, Nourish and Rest. Guided by highly trained practitioners in areas such as exercise physiology, nutrition, stress management, yoga and mindfulness, each stay is unique – itineraries are comprised from a selection of wellness classes, spa treatments, a range of island activities and world-class golf and tennis facilities complemented by nourishing and delicious dining by Nobu. The resort’s 10 spa hales are luxurious, Japanese-inspired oases of calm, each one featuring an ofuro bathtub, infrared sauna, steam, indoor and outdoor showers, oversized massage tables, private plunge pools and cozy lounging areas.

RETREAT ATTENDANT

Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Ko'ele is looking for passionate individuals, where you will create exceptional guest experiences, showcase your expertise and enthusiasm, and embody the Golden Rule in every interaction.

The Retreat Attendant maintains the cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness of Wellness Hales, fitness and movement facilities, and guest wellness spaces. This role supports exceptional guest experiences by ensuring wellness areas are welcoming, safe, fully stocked, and maintained to Four Seasons standards while providing attentive service that enhances guest comfort, wellbeing, and relaxation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and readiness across all Wellness facilities, including Wellness Hales, Fitness Center, Movement Studio, Yoga Pavilion, relaxation areas, locker rooms, restrooms, guest refreshment stations, and outdoor wellness spaces.
  • Clean, sanitize, inspect, and maintain wellness equipment, furnishings, Ofuro tubs, showers, vanity areas, decks, mirrors, glass surfaces, and fixtures to Four Seasons standards.
  • Replenish towels, linens, amenities, wellness supplies, refreshments, and guest-use materials to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Support daily Wellness operations by transporting, organizing, storing, and restocking supplies, inventory, linens, and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown, and preparation of treatment rooms, fitness spaces, wellness activities, classes, and guest programming.
  • Provide courteous and professional guest service by responding to requests, answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with wellness facility and service inquiries.
  • Assist guests with wellness and fitness equipment as appropriate, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, and repair needs to Engineering and Wellness leadership.
  • Uphold all Four Seasons standards for professionalism, safety, cleanliness, guest service, and operational excellence while maintaining a positive and welcoming wellness environment.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States legal work authorization in United States
  • The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 75lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
