Overview

Framework Development Group is seeking dedicated, student-centered tutors to deliver high-impact, in-person tutoring services to K–12 students across New Mexico during the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for experienced educators who are passionate about accelerating student learning through small-group, standards-aligned instruction.

Tutors will support students in mathematics and/or English Language Arts using structured curriculum, consistent instructional routines, and data-informed strategies designed to close learning gaps and promote grade-level proficiency.

This is an in-person role with assignments across participating schools statewide in New Mexico.

Position Details

  • Location: In-person at schools across New Mexico (statewide assignments)
  • Anticipated School Districts: Belen, Bernalillo, Cuba, Dulce, Española, Gadsden, Hatch, Jemez Valley
  • Schedule: During the school day, aligned with school calendars
  • Student Group Size: Up to 4 students per tutor
  • Employment Type: W-2, Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person, high-impact tutoring in math and/or ELA to small groups of students (up to 4 students per group)
  • Provide consistent, standards-aligned instruction based on New Mexico academic standards
  • Use student data and diagnostic information to guide instruction and group students appropriately
  • Implement structured lesson plans with explicit instruction, guided practice, student response, and ongoing checks for understanding
  • Provide immediate feedback and targeted support to address student learning needs
  • Build strong, consistent relationships with assigned students to support engagement and academic growth
  • Collaborate with program staff and school partners to align tutoring with classroom instruction and school priorities
  • Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and session documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • At least some prior teaching or instructional experience (classroom teaching, intervention support, tutoring, or academic coaching)
  • Strong knowledge of instructional practices in mathematics and/or literacy
  • Ability to support diverse learners, including multilingual learners and students with varying academic needs
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned school sites within New Mexico
  • Tutors need to provide their own laptop to use for daily lessons

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or former certified teacher (strongly preferred)

  • Experience supporting students below grade level in math and/or reading
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in New Mexico communities)

Important Notes

  • This is an in-person tutoring role; virtual tutoring is not the primary mode of instruction.
  • Mileage reimbursement is not provided, so candidates should be able to travel to assigned school sites as needed.
  • Tutors must be able to pass all required background checks prior to working with students.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
