A pharmacy is a busy place. Without the support of a hands-on Franciscan Pharmacy Resolution Center Specialist, it would be hard for the Pharmacist to get the job done. This team player handles medication refill requests, handles computer entry, contacts patients about refill information and much more. If you love keeping busy, this is the job for you.

Work remotely 4 days per week work from home and 1 day in office at our Greenwood, Indiana location. Must live within 1.5 hours of Greenwood, IN.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Assist in the review and management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
  • Collect pertinent patient data from the electronic medical record, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures, for the purposes of medication refill management and prior authorization completion.
  • Enter information into the electronic medical record as required for the management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
  • Assist in the dissemination of pertinent information to Patients, Customers, and/or Employees regarding medication refills and prior authorizations.
  • Assist in scheduling patient clinic visits, as appropriate, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required High School Dimploma/GED
  • 3 years Retail Pharmacy Preferred
  • 3 years Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Preferred
  • 2 years Pharmacy Benefit Company customer service representative Preferred
  • Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board Required
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board within 1 year of hire
