The posting

About the Role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to pioneer industry-leading manufacturing processes for our air defence missile systems. Your work will enable us to rapidly produce affordable defence solutions at scale — all while helping defend the free world.

At Frankenburg, you will join an exceptional team of leading experts in technology and national defence. In this role, you will shape the future of rocket technology in one of the most challenging fields, where innovation is essential, and achieving scalability, affordability, and rapid production against adversarial attacks is vital. If you thrive on creating breakthroughs and making an impact — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues, overseeing equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train production teams on new processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Product Engineering to meet standards, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Lead improvement initiatives to optimize production and capacity.

We Would Love You to Have

  • Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience At least 2 years in production engineering, manufacturing, or process engineering.
  • Technical Skills Proficiency with manufacturing software (e.g., CAD, CAM), ERP systems, and knowledge of process improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Familiarity with production methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Mission Alignment Strong alignment with our mission to build affordable and mass-manufacturable defence technologies — ensuring every euro spent moves us closer to our goal.
  • Security Clearance Willingness to undergo a background check as a condition of employment.

Our Values

Our mission is ambitious, and it takes a team that works with the same intensity.

  • Own the Mission: Mission first. Always. We choose impact — we focus on what moves the mission forward fastest instead of “nice-to-haves". We fix it now — when delays or problems appear, we step up, rally the right people, and solve them immediately. We keep momentum — when time matters, we stay focused and move forward without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • Strive for More: Dare more. Do more. Achieve the impossible. We challenge the status quo — we question, test, and improve instead of accepting “the usual way.” We embrace discomfort — we step outside comfort zones and turn challenges into growth. We anticipate the future — we build solutions that scale and set higher standards each time.
  • Build with Trust: Be open. Keep promises. We walk the talk — what we say, we do. No excuses, no exceptions. We share openly — we communicate clearly and early, even when the news is hard. We own outcomes — we admit errors quickly, fix them, and prevent them from repeating.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
