Sheehy Auto Stores is actively seeking an experienced Deal Poster to become a valuable member of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely recording and managing financial transactions related to vehicle sales, purchases, and other relevant activities. Your attention to detail and strong analytical abilities will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and evolving automotive environment.

This position is based at our local dealership and is not eligible for relocation assistance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty Cancellations and Submissions
  • Contracts in Transit and Vehicle Receivables Status Tracking
  • Schedules Review and Correction
  • Deal posting
  • Deal Costing
  • Rebate Dealer Cash Verification
  • Commission Verification
  • Daily Deal Issue Tracking
  • Vehicle Lien Payoffs
  • Customer Refunds and Referrals
  • Month-End Closing Activities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Obtaining revenue and paying invoices by verifying and completing payable and receivable transactions.

Requirements

  • Previous dealership experience is required
  • Knowledge of accounting software (i.e., QuickBooks)
  • Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
  • Ability to balance large-volume accounts
  • Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Fast learner who is open to change and able to handle a demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening, MVR, and drug test
  • Must have a valid driver's license
