PRN Live-In Caregiver | $250/Day | Mankato & Owatonna Area

Looking for meaningful caregiving work with a flexible schedule?

Freedom Home Care is hiring experienced PRN Live-In Caregivers to provide one-on-one care in our clients' homes. Choose the assignments that work for your schedule while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Please Read Before Applying

This is a true live-in caregiving position—not a traditional overnight shift.

Live-in caregivers temporarily reside in the client's home for the entire scheduled assignment, typically 2 consecutive days up to 1 week. You will have designated sleeping accommodations and overnight sleep time while remaining available if the client needs assistance.

Because clients require continuous care, caregivers must remain in the home throughout the assignment and may only leave after being relieved by another approved caregiver or when coverage has been arranged by the office.

Schedule & Pay

  • $250 per day
  • PRN — choose the assignments that fit your schedule
  • Assignments typically range from 2 consecutive days up to 1 week
  • Most assignments begin at 11:00 AM
  • Remain in the client's home until your scheduled relief arrives

What You'll Do

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Follow each client's individualized care plan
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
  • Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home

Qualifications

  • Previous live-in, overnight, home care, or caregiving experience a must
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a Minnesota Background Study
