About Us - Cardiac Medical Unit (CMU) The cardiac medical unit is a 35-bed department consisting of multidisciplinary teams of RNs, LPNs, nurse technicians, and ancillary staff. We work together to provide compassionate patient care for stroke and dialysis patients. CMU serves Freeman and our community as the designated stroke floor to help maintain a Level II Stroke Accreditation. We serve a population of hemodynamically stable neuro-medical and renal patients. What You’ll Do

Under The Direction/Supervision Of A Nurse, Provides Basic Nursing Care Needs For Assigned Patients.

Requirements

• Currently Enrolled In RN Nursing Program And Beginning Final Semester Of Nursing School • AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 60 Days. • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) Within 365 Days. • NT Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
